What About Lightning ? ! ?

What About Lightning ? ! ?

Barak ...per Hebrew names meaning....

"lightning" or "glitter, splendor, glare, flash, gleam, shine" *
( Does this not describe perfectly the persona of Barak Obama? )

If you think about lightning....it comes as a flash or glitter....
it makes a boastful show and then it is gone in a flash... no
more to be found or seen.....! ! ! HalleluYaH ! ! !

Luke 10v18 And he said unto them,
"I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."

Isaiah 14v12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,
of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground,
which didst weaken the nations!

Isaiah 14v13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the
mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Isaiah 14v14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will be like the most High.

Ezekiel 28v7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee,
the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords
against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy *brightness.

Ezekiel 28v8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die
the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

Ezekiel 28v9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee,
I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand
of him that slayeth thee.

Ezekiel 28v10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised
by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 28v11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Ezekiel 28v12 of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of **Tyrus,
and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum,
full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

Ezekiel 28v13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every
precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond,
the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the
carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes
was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. ( what a sparkler )

Ezekiel 28v14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have
set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked
up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. ( Hawaii )

Ezekiel 28v15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou
wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

**Tyrus...means a rock...Ba_rock .

Greetings Hiz,
Actually, "Baraq" fits the definition of what you posted above, not "Barak"... "Baraq" is Strong's number 1300 in the Hebrew concordance.....

Now "Barak" is in the Hebrew as well, and is Strong's number 1288, and can be taken two ways....This prime root word, can imply a blessing to God by kneeling. And also, a euphemism, as to curse God, as treasonous...So? Which could it be?

No King but CHRIST JESUS!!!

Beloved Brother,

My source is a book of Hebrew baby names by,
Smadar Shir Sidi.

This would probably be Aramaic.

The point I am trying to make, anyway,
is the correlation between him and
the one JESUS speaks of in scripture.

Greetings Hiz,
I can understand that this shadar sidar what evar, guy can be mistaken...
My source is the Hebrew dictionary of words used in the bible..

What you originally posted sent a chill down my spine when I read it...Started to think how satan comes in peacefully and prosperously, and not like some boogie man dressed in red holding a pitched fork.. I then checked it out, and found what I had posted last.. I can see how "Baraq" and "Barak" phonetically sound the same, yet the difference is what it is...

No King but CHRIST JESUS!!!

Beloved Brother,

I looked in the Hebrew section of my huge
Strong's Concordance. It says that Baraq /
Barak both mean lightening!

My Zondervan Bible DSictionary, also,
says Barak means lightening.

this is taken from e-Sord, they use Strongs

H1300
בּרק
bârâq
baw-rawk'
From H1299; lightning; by analogy a gleam; concretely a flashing sword: - bright, glitter (-ing, sword), lightning.

The Word says from twoor more witnesses is
everything established.

Beloved Brother,

The Hebrew letters on all 3
listings are quite different.
This means they don't all intend
to apply to the same meanings.

I have studied under a Rabbi,
and I learned these things.

Aside from that, the 1288 you mention
can be either cursing or blessing, even
blaspheming.

When Jesus was talking about "jot &
title", He was referring to the markings
on the Hebrew letters.

I rest my case.

Beloved Brother,

I felt lead to do a comp look at these
words one more time. Each entry has the
Hebrew using different letters or jots
and tittles.

H1288
בּרך

bârak
baw-rak'
A primitive root; to kneel; by implication
to bless God (as an act of adoration), and
vice-versa) man (as a benefit); also (by euphemism)
to curse (God or the king, as treason): -
X abundantly, X altogether, X at all,
blaspheme, bless, congratulate, curse,
X greatly, X indeed, kneel (down), praise,
salute, X still, thank.

H1299
בּרק
bâraq
baw-rak'
A primitive root; to lighten (lightning):
- cast forth.

H1300
בּרק
bârâq
baw-rawk'
From H1299; lightning; by analogy a gleam;
concretely a flashing sword: - bright,
glitter (-ing, sword), lightning.

H1301
בּרק
bârâq
baw-rawk'
The same as H1300; Barak, an
Israelite: - Barak.
> note: this is the only one
that is used a pronoun or persons
name.

I did a lowercase search through
eSord and the only notations found
were for the name/pronoun Barak,
not the verb barak. Barak the captain
of Deborah's army.

Keywords in your search:

BLESSED

Entries with All Keywords in Definition:

Berakhah (B'RUHKH-khah; b'ruhkh-KHAH); pl: Berakhot (b'ruhkh-KHOHT)
A blessing. A prayer beginning with the phrase "barukh atah..." (blessed art Thou...). See Prayers and Blessings; Common Prayers and Blessings.

Greetings Hiz,
So now you are telling me your rabbi is mistaken too?

Like I said first, "Barak" is either a blessing implied by kneeling, or a curse, by euphemism.. Just re-read my second post...

But only strong's 1288 is B A R A K, not any of the others...

Thank you for reminding me of what I have not forgot, that not one jot or tittle is changed....

And as you re-read my second post, see that I asked you, which do you think it is, in regards to your original post about Barrack O...A blessing, or curse? I'll put it this way, I sure ain't voting for that, ah, christian(?)...

No King but CHRIST JESUS!!!

Beloved Brother,

NO...to set you straight....
the Rabbi, & not my Rabbi,
is Messianic, meaning he has received
Jesus as his Messiah.

I am not saying that # 1288 is the barak
I am using.

# 1301 is the only one that is using a
pronoun...a pronoun is used for a name.
The other representations are not used
for a persons name. You must correctly
use the one of # 1301, because that is
the one used for a persons name! ! ! !

I don't intend to vote for O_bomb_a ! !
Not after all that I have seen and heard
by the Spirit of God.

So, again, the name of a person, Barak,
means ...lightening, not blessing.

This is similar to many English words
that have dual meanings and some are
nouns, verbs, pronouns, etc.

The way the Jew would use the word
to stand for blessing:

ב
ברוך אתה ה' א‑לוהינו מלך העולם

Transliteration: Barukh ata Adonai Eloheinu
melekh ha-olam...

Translation: "Blessed are You, LORD, our God,
King of the universe..."

Hello Sister: It's been a Long time, I'm so glad that You have shed a light personally I'm not much of a politician, I feel that God has used and give You much "discertment" regarding this man,I saw him in a secular show of a certain female that it's known for her "sexual preference" and he said His church validated same sex couples ever since then, I started wondering??? and I keep wondering about him, obviously we know that we are living the last days we need to always be in guard and vigilant, for the second coming of Our Lord and Savior JesusChrist! so good job regarding the "meaning of his name" and it's nice saying hello to You again! many Blessings in the name of the LORD! I Reamain Praying!

Beloved Brother,

So you, too, have discernment regarding
this character? I have written much
ahout what I have seen and heard from
the very first time I heard the name
Barack O_Bomb_a. They failed to mention
his middle name, Heussein. No wonder!

Thank you for reading and commenting here.
