Prayer Request Wow, I was informed this morning that corporate has decided to eliminate my position. Merry Christmas?! I know God will provide, but it is rather difficult to get my arms around all this right now. I've had a job since I was in the sixth grade - and have never been "fired". They said its not performance related or a reflection on me...simply a change in direction. I know its not the end of the world, God allows one door to close and will open another. My oldest already told me I still have what's important and they can't take that away. Anyway, I appreciate your prayers. I will pray for you.. gosh what a time to put that to you, though no time is good when you loose a job and got bills to pay and such. I hope that you will regardless of this situation, have a grand christmas, and that this will be a time for you to rest in Him and know where your future lies. And remember *merry* doesnt mean happy.. (according to Chapscot) it means *courageous*.. So have a blessed Courageous Christmas...

Sorry to hear that jim.Bad timming on their part. We know you as a man of God Jim,so we know thing will work out well for you,but we will continue to pray for you and your boys,especialy that this will be a happy prosperous christmas for you. Your boys are right,you still have the thigs that are most important in life,friend and family. I heve always disliked you intentley because you are by far the most loved guy on BC,  Luv you loads brother. And don`t forget,you still have Kentucky fried chicken,they can take our lifes.our wifes our jobs,even our (((FREEDOM ))),but they will never take our Kentucky fried chcken. For the life of me I never understood the timing of letting people go at Christmas. End of fiscal year?? What?? It's just horrible timing. You know I've known you quite some time here and I don't even know what you do. You have always been there for me with prayers, for everyone really and of course our prayers and your name and family will be lifted until you find new employment. Your son's are not only very handsome, but very wise. You taught them well and that alone makes you the most successful, wealthiest man. You should be proud and I know you are. Yes, for sure a new door will be opened and quite possibly a window so that HIS light will always shine upon you. For HE knows the plans HE has for you...... I am always here if you want to chat. You know that!! Please, allow yourself to feel all the emotions you need to right now then bundle them up and hand them up each night until your frustrations feel lighter. HE always does make everything ok, just sometimes it gets a little muddy because of our human side and you have EVERY right to feel every one of them. Prayers for you and your family!! Jim, I just echo all the other sentiments expressed here. Yeah, really lousy timing! But we know that all things work for the good for those who love the Lord, the called according to His purpose. Believe me, I fully understand it's really hard to grasp that sometimes. I keep reminding myself we just can't see what He's doing behind the scenes and it's gonna be amazing! Praying for you brother, May the good Lord open greater doors for you. I beleive that things happen for a reason & if that don't work out, that only means that God has something better for you.Hang in there brother, the good Lord is working on you.........GBY............Rosie
