asked my supervisor about an available supervisor job that just became available well...the dead line is 8/17/2010(to submit an application for the open position) at that time i would have met the requirement of being employed there for at least 6 months...with 2 whole days to spare! ![]() i am sure...that if i am even considered for the job..i wont be in the front running. i have heard it is very difficult to get a promotion from with in...they give them out but usually you had to have been there at least a year and a half (not 6 months like me) but...like i told a co-worker yesterday...at least i am letting them know...to possibly consider me for future promotion oportunities. i have already studied the job in question...and i know i can do it!!! honestly...i think i would be better at that job...then the call agent job i have now. sometimes it gets tiring talking so much all day...8 hours strait!! the job is basically supervising about 25 call agents in "a team" helping them to have success in the company....i think i would like that.i just need to find out how to use some of the software the sups use...it doesnt look to difficult.....just need to find some one to teach it to me. |

Excellent. But I see a door hasn't been opened for you yet. Would you like to guess that door? It is that software qualification. But right now, whatever your hand finds to do...do it with all your might and give God the glory for its success and failure. In the meantime, thanks for letting me know what's going on with you out there in Lone Star State. I appreciate your activities at work and recreation (remember: Conquistador), and your sharing helps me to be more specific in supporting you in prayer. I would be interested in learning what exactly you do at work...and what you do in the evenings or weekends. I'm sure you have an interesting life. Keep up the good. Your service to your Lord encourages me in my confidence that true Christians persevere. Where Bible And Christian Meet If You Only Knew

amen...my supervisor sent me an email saying we need to start planning to make that move, into being a supervisor. which kind of makes sence being that i have never sup'd in the call center, the part i dont like is that they get you to do alot of stuff for free first...but oh well,i'll just take it on day at a time. one more day and i finish my first week with the dollar pay raise...yippie! i think i will buy myself 40 dollars in candy!

oh...and thanks for the comments every one...i still want to through my hat in the running. still have to get my sup to sign off on it though. just for the sake of "going for it" not the most qualified right now for the job....but just to tell them "hello...i exist...deal with it....watch out world here i come"!!! ![]()

oh...talked to my sup yesterday...he said there is actually 2 promotions available... "a sup" and a "team lead" he said he wants me to apply for both. but i have to wait between 8/15 and 8/17/2010. so...who knows hopefully i can get one of those one day...it would look great on a resume.
