Soulmates? Bible doesn't specifically say soulmate, BUTTTT it does say how they become one and it also warns about not coming between them, bible says it is better to marry than burn with passion. Only have to look at all the split marriages to realise something is wrong! I personally am single and know everything I've tried does not work! I am passionate, but have self control and He is sufficient for me, I am not looking for a relationship, but in having said that, I meet many interesting people and dont think about them as mates, but I do think about whether I liked them or not and whether we got along. As in today, I had a meeting with a man and realised it was good, and on parting he said it was a pleasure to meet me! This was in a professional situation, he is going in to bat for me in regard to a complaint I was formalising.. It is always GOOD to leave a good impression and being myself and being totally honest, not worrying about what others think of me WORKS! It is appreciated by others and I am liked for it! I think that it is important to leave good behind us wherever we go.. ALL relationships are important to God, because all people are His creation and He loves us all so much, remember? He did give His only begotten ... It really all comes down to reading the Word and understanding the Word and if you go back to the beginning it is all clear! Remember God doesn't change, man changes things to suit himself and to justify himself. I do believe that there is another half that makes us whole and it is all down to God.. We mess things up with our flesh getting in the way! Bible says where do wars and fights come from .... I'll go find the scrip about it.. NKJV James 4: 1 - 17 covers so much! 4b..Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. (remember.. do not covet your neighbors wife? )(one of the ten commandments) In verse 4 it accuses people of being adulterers and adulteresses.. I personally believe I am guilty of adultery simply because I have been in more than one relationship! My Bible says we are able to divorce if one is guilty of infidelity.. My husband WAS guilty and I divorced him! BUT it also says we are not to marry if we can help it, maybe that's because it matters to God who we go with.. I would rather err on the side of caution than offend my God, amen.. I think I offended Him enough in my lifetime, ignorance is NOT bliss, it is DANGEROUS! |

Matt 19:10 NKJV says this..His disciples said to Him, "If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry. " Read the whole of chapter 19.. Matt 19:10 GNT says this..His disciples said to Him, "If this is how it is between a man and his wife, it is better not to marry. " This is talking about those who cant stay faithful .. as I said read all of matt 19 ..GBU!
