David... Why was he a man after God's own heart? Because he was faithful guarding his fathers sheep. He didnt try to love the lion, bear or wolf into being a sheep. He killed them with his bare hands to protect the flock. THAT is why God made him a king... He was far from perfect, that's for sure, but there is a message there, about our love walk and the confusion about how to do it! So many wolves come into the church and devour His people and what do they do about it? They dont put them out of the flock, they try to love them into an ideal that they cannot live up to, or be. We had a safe church seminar at our church and I talked about what had happened to us in the past. We were apologised to, on behalf of the church. I asked questions and we were told these people should be put out of the church and I thought, thankyou, because that is God's heart, to protect His flock and God help those in leadership who fail on this point! That is why the gift of discernment is so important if in leadership, especially the head of the church. Bible says God created the good and the bad, that the wicked go astray from birth, they are what they are.. I am NOT talking about people who have been wicked then repent and walk in a right way, I'm talking about those who talk about christianity as tho they are christians, they go to church, they wear Jesus t-shirts and minister and pray, but STILL commit heinous crimes against others, especially women and , or those who lie and slander others with no shame, because they have no fear of God, simply because they dont know Him, it is all an act, a part they are playing for their own selfish reasons and gain. Think about it, what is a wolf in sheeps clothing and WHY would God warn us about them! BECAUSE THEY EXIST AND WE NEED TO BE WARNED, to be vigilant because our enemy roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom they may devour... AND because the thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy...

he isnt one of my favorites.... wouldnt be someone that I would hang with. However when speaking of the "church" it is the people and not a building or organization. woo them to fellowship? absolutely but never to an organization
