Dirty Face!

My boy came home yesterday and I thought his face looked dirty, closer inspection, he's growing a MO! He tells me they are going to have a graduation dinner for the grade sixes. I said that will be great, a chance to shine! We dont socialise, we're pretty isolated, so I will get a chance to meet some of the parents, some are christians, should be interesting, a chance to dress up. I told my he will have to shave, he said "no I'm growing a mo" , I said "No you're not", he's twelve and very blonde, but that mo is looking decidedly dark! He wants to wear a tie, I said I'll get him some nice black pants and a nice white shirt, dress up time, wow, cant remember the last time I got to dress up! I'm a jeans and boots girl, not into dresses, much. I own ONE! I think I'll buy him an electric shaver, to buzz his face with. He was freaking out about going to the dentist the other week. BUT he enjoyed it, he had his teeth cleaned and it tickled! .... ....

lol, He's just growing up ... and remember, November IS MOvember ... here in Australia anyway, when growing a Mo is done for a charity, prostrate cancer research being the main beneficiary. look it up on the web and see the great cause your son is supporting early ... Men's Health.

Regards

It's just beginning, very light, he's been in puberty for nearly two yrs! They grow up so fast and you know along with the celebration, there's also a bit of mourning for the little boy that's disappearing into manhood...

You may have to watch things carefully if he is early in maturation. More can be expected of a child who looks older than he is. They sometimes are forced into growing up too fast.( I learned that is my Human Development class)

Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images."

Aaaaw Lyn, you have a little man there. I know that is bittersweet. He'll always be your little boy. Blessings, Little Bird

It's already happening Kim, he looks about 14, but still wants to play like a little boy ...

He whispered that in my ear a little while back, " I'll always be your little boy mum, but dont tell anyone" oops, now I've done it!
