Is It OK ? Is unforgiveness ever acceptable? |

The Lord will forgive us if we only ask Him. I often tell myself that I am not above God and He forgives many serious sins. That is not to say that I forgive everyone - I'm only human. But I try. Nancy Let us share one anothers burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ

NO MY FRIEND...I DON'T BELIEVE IT IS ACCEPTABLE...Holding that within ourselves is like a cancer that will continue to grow and spread throughout our entire being ...We need to released from the burden of carrying this load. WE WERE NOT DESIGNED TO BARE THE BURDEN OF UNFORGIVENESS......GOD WANTS US FREE! God bless, maria

Jesus implied that we are channels of forgiveness because we receive God's unconditional forgiveness and pass unconditional forgiveness on to others. Our inbility to forgive results in our being disobedient to God. Many people find themselves unable to truly worship God because they refuse to forgive others unconditionally. In order to be totally forgiven by our Father in Heaven we need to forgive everyone that we feel has hurt us. Are you still blaming others for your misfortunes? Do you hold grudges? In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do. You can't get forgiveness from God, for instance, without also forgiving others. If you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God's part. Bitterness and strife will yield, bitterness and strife in your life. Forgiveness and love will yield forgiveness and love. God has given us free choice to do what we want. His desire is to relie on him and not anything else for meeting our needs. Usually if we get offended, we have a lot of expectations and somewhere because they are not of God, we will be let down, failed, denied, many factors, because we are relieing on human effort and all fail short of the grace of God. He sent his only son to fix everything, by claiming Him as our source and nothing else when we make Jesus Lord. So our choice not to relie or go with Him on everything is missing the mark, which we call sin, and that separates us from God. It holds His hand back from protecting us, loving us and puts is in a position of harms way, where it gives entrence to the enemy, satin and giving him authority to run your life and bring things in that can affect every area of your life, including your life.. God warns us that satin comes to steal, kill and destroy and in that order, But Jesus said that I have come to give life and life abundant. When you are holding something against another, ask yourself Am I free to love? Free to do things without feeling guilty? etc, or do you fell guilty? feeling subconscous about things? Ask Jesus to deal with it, give it to him. He did not intend for us to handle the burdens. He took it all on himself so we can be free. You will have peace, joy and love when you relie on Jesus and not others. Others somewhere and when will let you down, But Jesus can. Read His word ond put it in practice and see. You have nothing to loose to try his way, but more to gain. Plus most people do not consider God needs us, and more than ever. We are His hands, feet and mouth piece. People are watching what you do and when you choose to relie on Him, He will meet every need. When you are consistent and faithful to it, the blessings get bigger and bigger and will chase you down. Its your choice and time as we know it is running out.

Is unforgiveness ever acceptable Luke 11:4 - And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Luke 17:3 - Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. Luke 17:4 - And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. not acceptable in the book i read so my answer is NO be blessed sister
