Question About Evil

Just wondering something ...,
If wicked people and those who love continually to do evil get thrown into hell, then wouldn't that be like a heaven to them?

I am thinking that maybe by that point reality would sink in and they would get a rude awakening along with a conscience. TOO LATE, though! Forever is a long time!!!!!
Merry Christmas, Anita. Soaring with Christ and Chrissy! Christine and Steve

God decides what's right and what's wrong, and rewards or punishes accordingly. And since He's against their behavior, I can't imagine that they'll be enjoying anything.

We human creatures are both spiritual and physical. The physical world is very distracting, until one dies, then, no more distraction.
The spiritual part of a person may be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, and find themselves coming home to the source of Life and Love. If not, then they remain in the state of separation from God that came about with the fall. I think Dante was right about what happens after that. Torment may sound terrible, but Dante (The Inferno) suggested that those images would soon fade to reveal an even greater horror: eternity alone with the knowledge of having rejected God, the source Life and everything of any value. This may not sound like much punishment, but 1. it's not God punishing us, we're the ones who brought it about, and 2. remember, we were made in God's image, and God is spirit, so the human spirit apart from God is in conflict with itself, and will know how vile it really is.
The reason I believe it's that way is because during my conversion experience, at age 27, there was a time between when I came to know, beyond a doubt that God is God, and when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. That time was basically spent sitting at the gates of hades, and that's what I "saw". (I used the word hades to try to avoid censorship)

Phi 2:10,11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Matthew 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

I believe like the centurion, the people in hell will realize, too late, that Jesus was the Son of God, the Christ and that His Word was true and will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. But alas, it will be too late. The deed was done and their fate is sealed. Hell is eternal, everlasting and there is no escape.

Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape [flee] the damnation [judgement] of hell [a place of everlasting punishment]?
