ONE

The main attack on the character and earthly mission of Christ was from the seemingly most religious people.

Outwardly they were seemingly defenders of the faith, but they headed up the opposition that lead to the murder of Christ.

Though righteousness was their keynote, the honor of God was thier theme and law, they saw Jesus as an imposter because he arose from the ranks of the poor, was a homeless wanderer and chose to welcome indiscriminately the riff raff of society to follow him.

Here we see the distinct Pharasaic sin in action, the sin of scorn; the sin of a superior person full of pride and eaten up by their own self righteousness of goodness and grace unable to even recognize God when He came to them because of their own narrow conceiving and ideas of what God should be.

Another thing that they promoted was strict adherance to the observance of all of the law, which Jesus tried to show them a new truth that the law was not the be all and end all of faith and righteousness and was branded a heretic.

The death of Jesus was caused by the sin of the closed minds of those who proclaimed to love God.

The third thing that caused them to indict Jesus was His UNIVERSALISM.

The Pharisees viewed men as falling into two groups, the ones who were chosen and then all the rest "gentiles" and there was an unbreakable barrier between them.

The very name Pharisee means SEPERATED.

Jesus declared that all men are created in the image of God and He is everywhere and FOR EVERYONE.

He showed that despised people are no less of God than men born and bred into the faith.

With His words and His life He drew a picture of a day when all the roads of the world would be filled with marching hosts of people from every nation, tongue and tribe and all peoples under heaven would stream into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus mission was to redeem the world and in so doing He was hailed an imposter, charged as a common criminal and cruelly murdered.

His death accomplished all that needed to be accomplished in the divine mercy and love of God to cover every sin and every trangression which has ever occured on this planet.

Jesus didn't fail, it is finished, the ax has been taken to the root of the tree which grew branches that darkened the view of the true glory of heaven and the light is now overcoming every darkness, including the lie that our Messiah is an exclusive Savior for only a select few.

It IS finished, life conquered death, Jesus Christ has won.

why did you take this down and bring it back up after it was exposed?

Jesus died because of Adam. What are you afraid of Anita? the truth?

Comparing the priests of that time to believers of this day is silly. The Holy Spirit is here in the believer today. He was not in those priests.

Adams sin seperated man. If that had not happened life today would be much different.

Why are you playing Marytr? You took my post down because it totally refuted what you have to say.

Anita......what else was there to promote but the Law before Jesus was glorified? It was the Covenant between the Jews and God. That was all there was. Why wouldnt they promote it? It would have been wrong at that time to not to have done it. All gentiles had no hope of salvation before Jesus came and was glorified.

After he was crucified he gave all of those people a chance as he preached to them in a one time situation, the Gospel.

That doesnt happen anymore. The Holy Spirit convicts people that do not know Jesus Christ that they have sinned and fallen short and can only be redeemed by Jesus Christ. There will be no purification in the end for people who die without Jesus. They will have cosen themselves and Hell over God. Their choice of eternal damnation. Not Gods' ...their failure and not God's.

In your testamony you claimed an Angel of Light spoke all of this Universalism to you. The3 same thing happened to the cults of the 7th day adventists and the mormons and Jehovah's witnesses. All called non Christian because of other bibles and false teachings.

Satan appears as an abgel of light. God appears in his new covenat as the Holy Spirit.

Why do you insist on calling the Gospel for a select few when it is for EVERYONE that believes? Key word believes. Faith...It says we are saved by faith and not something that anyone should boast of. Faith is something on the believers part. That is not Universal. it is an act by a person who chooses yes or no to believe something.

Are you so afraid of the truth that you will not debate it?

Forgiveness means nothing unless you receive it. Nothing. The finished work of the Gospel means nothing unless you receive it. Yet you call Jesus failing because someone chooses not to have him as savior?

Jesus was not Universal. Universal is like a component that fits all things. He doesnt fit into us or this world. We fit into him. We are grafted into who he is if we hear his voice and come to him.

Wasn't this posted earlier with some comments attached? Was there an issue with BC or did you need to repost it w/o the prior comments?

Dennis, I saw no comments on my previous post and so I reposted it.

In my testimony I did not mention an angel, it was the voice of God.

Yes, Jesus died for the sins of the world, before it believed and recieved, in that yet we were all still sinners. That is as universal as love gets, dear. Jesus forgave you before you accepted His forgiveness so if someone chooses not to accept forgiveness does He unforgive them, I think not.

The truth does not need to be debated, God is still Lord over all whether anyone chooses to accept it or not - He never lost control and His will that none shall perish shall be accomplished.
