Better Look Again

Can anyone explain to me how can it be that others tell me they are looking only at God and yet they still see sin, evil, hell, judgement and condemnation.

I say I am looking only at God and I see none of those things. I only see purity and love. And because of this I am said to be in error.

How can they say they have their eyes on God and still see all those ugly things? I just don't get it.

The ugly things are not in Him..the ugly things are what remain from a fallen world..the fallen world in which we live and as Christ did not close his eyes to the sin and sufferings of others so we shouldn't

Anita, I agree with Pete. If we cannot see the sin we would not be able to save the sinner.

First off Let me introduce you to Gods' word. Not Yours

He created the law for the Isrealites so that fallen man(everyone since adam) would know that they needed to be redeemed.

There were two trees in the garden of eden. One was forbidden and the other was life.

Ever since that choice of the knowledge of Good and Evil. It exists. The knowledge and the choices

God created hell for satan and the fallen angels and it is there for man as well

We have a choice. The redemption was Jesus being Glorified in his ressurection. All of the worlds sins past present and future are forgiven. That work was done on the Cross by Jesus Christ and by a choice of obedience in his part.

We are born into a fallen world. We will all have a chance and in most cases many chances to accept what Jesus has done by faith or to reject it.

God is fair and Just. He was merciful in giving the Law to show that we could not keep it. Then he gave a Universal sacrifice to anyone that would believe on it in their lifetime. Those who do not have the eternal punishment that is due them.

Anita You think I do not like you. Truth is I Love You. I despise the herecy that you follow. I have to stand against it when you present it. If not then....no big deal really because standing or sitting is not going to garner me any brownie points with God. But to me it is a huge slap in the face to Jesus Christ when a person believes that people can go to hell and be purified and then allowed in heaven? It just is not so.

It does not stop here with you. You tried to bring up a third testament, written by another whacko. Personally I hope you get delivered from all of these lies. I hope someday you know who Jesus is.

Let me ask you this. What do you believe happened when You Got saved. I do not know if you did, I am just asking. I am trying to be open and nice with you. The wall is down. I want to know your impressions of Salvation and what it means.

When I look at God and at God's character and attributes found in His word, I see that He addresses all aspects of sin, evil, hell, judgement, and condemnation as well as purity and love. How is it possiable to see some and not all?

Pete, Marj and StreetsofGold, you make an interesting point. Is it possible that when we are looking at God we see people and situations through the blood of Christ; Where they are no longer evil and unforgiveable but rather worth rescuing and another fantastic opportunity for God to display His Awesome Power to overcome sin and hell and demonstrate His Fatherly compassion and mercy in place of judgement or condemnation?

You do not get it Anita...Jesus spoke of Hell 379 times. More than any subject...Yet you refuse to believe him. I see you can not answer what it is to be saved

Edjehu, thanks so much for your comments and respectable approach. I truly feel a spirit of kindness in the words you have spoken and see a wealth of wisdom in them as well.
His will is that none shall be lost, I made that my will too.
My only desire is for His will to be done in and through my life.
Once I lined my will up with God He did show me some great and awesome mysteries and He called me to a higher purpose in preparation for that midnight hour you spoke of.
Definately your advise has greatly impressed my heart and I have heard no wiser words than these combined with such an honest spirit of love from any other Christian at Big Church. They have actually a very deep meaning to me, the understanding of which is not evident in the words alone, but a deeper meaning spoken to my heart through the Holy Spirit.
You know what? I really appreciate that you came by, I really appreciate that you are approachable and can offer such worthy comments without condemnation. Certainly they are comments worth every bit of my prayerful consideration.
God Bless You
