Yes, I didn't seek it. God instead sought me and imputed His Son's righteousness to me.

Roman 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Roman 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare, His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God,

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

How can you be righteous and not seek Him ( God) he will not give you anything you do not want. Righteous comes from obedience, seeking God, and salvation. You must seek.. Gwen
