Most Serious Question About God

If all the rest of His creation and everyone else in it were safely gathered into the Kingdom of heaven and you were the only one missing, wouldn't there be an emptiness, a shadow of failure lurking around His throne proving that He is not All Powerful after all?

Not sure what you are asking but No I dont think it would show a sign of failure on God's part if one were missing. I think what it would be is a failure on my part to do what I know God wanted me to do. The Bbile says many are called but few are chosen . God is all powerful but here is the thing although he may call us each to him he will not force us to live our lives for him.
I have been reading alot of blogs too about hell and ehwther it is real and such. Havent commented on any of that because everyone has their own opinion and in order to find the truth we have to search it out and pray for God to help us find what we are looking for . I knwo that is is not Gods will that any should perish and be cast into hell but as I said he will not force himslef on anyone. I know many people who once lived for God and have turned their backs on him for whatever reason . Do you beleive these people will make it into heaven? No God doesnt want anyone to go to hell but all of mankind will not be saved I am afraid. The Bible teaches us that hell increases its size everyday to accept those who would not accept God as their Saviour. No it isnt a pleasant hough but it is the truth .
Not sure why I got on all this Anita. I am sorry but what I believe to be true is this that God will make a way for every man to hear the gospel atleast once that is all we are promised what we do with it is up to us . it is up to us to turn our lives over to him . What assurance do we as humans have that we will make it into heaven ? If you died today are you 100% sure you would make it ? Not you personally this is just a question in general . But anyway no I do not think that if I dont make it into heaven that God will have any sense of failure for God cannot fail. he will never leave or forsake us it is us who forsake him . God Bless y ou Anita.

Just one lost sheep?
Won't be me, 'cos I'm trusting in the blood and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.
What audacity!
And yet, this is the only grounds of Assurance.

Humankind is forever asking the wrong question.
Are there many that will be saved, the disciples asked?
Jesus replies in the imperative, "Strive YOU to enter in at the narrow gate... for few there be that find it!!!"

Also, the choice is not finally ours, as some may think.
Jesus says, "You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you."

The wonder is not that one might be left outside.
The wonder is that any of us make it to the inside!
That is the miracle of God's grace.

Meantime it is for us to "make our calling and election sure..."

Anita - I see what you are trying to do here - trying to prove that there is no hell in which people will reside for eternity.....That would be a wonderful thought and I wish so much that it were true!!! Firecracker - wonderful reply - The Word speaks of Hell quite often - Don't know why people would rationalize it away - it's in the scriptures.

REV 20 vs 14 "then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If ANYONE'S name was not found written in the book of life, HE was thrown into the lake of fire"

Rev 21 vs 7 "HE who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, THOSE who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars - their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Even Jesus's own words;
"Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only HE who does the will of my father who is in heaven.

"But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

"All men will hate you because of me, but HE who stands firm to the end will be saved" This obviously says that not all will stand firm in the end.

Don't know how much plainer the Word can get. Thank you for forcing me to remember where these scriptures are!!! Peb

Whosoever does not believe in the Son is condemned already,
says the scripture!

As many as choose not to follow the Lord Jesus will die in

their sins, like Jesus told the Pharisees and will suffer

eternally...............he that has ears let him hear.

I see that a pattern has developed in that you (Anita) never respond to my posts, and that it is almost certain that once I do respond to your blog that particular post seemingly is put to rest.

I will be quite surprised to find anything different now, but please, feel free.

Anita,

do you recognize that in addition to GOD's perfect Divine will He also exercises a perfect "permissive" will? - Just as is seen in the example given above regarding Job.

I think the real problem here is that you simply do not trust Him, for to trust Him in salvation is to acknowledge that there was a need.

Why is there a need for salvation if none will perish?

Sin is only a minor frustration in daily life as you see it -

but you need to look beyond the human perspective and see that at our core we are depraved apart from the LORD - and that NOT all walk with GOD.

Did you do as I suggested and go back to Genesis?

What you present was first born in the Garden of Eden, and came forth from the mouth of satan unto Eve. For you present a direct challenge to GOD when you dismiss as untrue all references to eternal damnation; all references to the nature of salvation; all references to the penalty for sin apart from Christ's blood; all references to those who are not of HIS fold; all references to idolatry as witchcraft or 'evil' in the sight of the LORD.

That type of belief has no roots in Almighty GOD - for it completely rejects HIS righteous authority and holiness OVER sin, and the very real penalty for such sin.

Think back to EXACTLY what the serpent told Eve.

"You surely will not die" [if you disobey GOD]

In essence, he said that GOD lied when GOD told Adam (who told Eve) that to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil would bring upon Adam death that very day! Which it in fact did bring about - spiritually.

Yet the devil did not want Adam and Eve to believe GOD - for that would have brought forth obedience, and obedience brings forth blessing, and blessing brings forth GOD's glory.

Well, surely you do know that the LAST thing that the devil wants is to see glory given to GOD.

That is what he (the devil) wants for himself. That is what we see as the real first sin - his pride. Then our (mankind) disbelief manifest through disobedience becomes the first sin of mankind.

that is what you do now, Anita - and I make no bones about calling your position out as one born in the pit of hell itself! for it comes not from the mind of Christ, but from the prideful mind of satan himself!

Again, I say to you - TAKE BACK THIS GROUND!!!!! Do NOT continue to yield to such as this! It is MOST evil in its arrogance toward the cross!

think about what you are really saying when you claim that ALL are saved for eternity, and that NONE will 'perish' unto the flames.

Do you actually believe that devout satanists will die and spend eternity in Heaven? - those who in action daily worship satan in direct and whole-hearted oppositional acknowledgment of the supremacy of Jesus Christ - those who sacrifice unto the devil himself - those who dedicate their ENTIRE lives to the bidding of the evil one -

while knowing who GOD is - while knowing who Jesus is - while knowing of the Spirit -

you are indeed speaking EXACTLY what the serpent spoke unto Eve!

repent of this, Anita - NOW!

wake up - please, for the Glory of GOD and for your own sake as well!

What of those who are created and born by GOD for the 'day of destruction?' (or the 'day of wrath?)

what do YOU think that means?

Look at how your perspective limits GOD himself! How dare you! Again, 'Get thee behind me, satan!' is what you should be saying to these thoughts that run only to the appeasement of men's flesh!

Who WOULDN'T want to believe that what you say is true?

OH MY! How overt our spiritual enemy is in his tactics! Rise above this, Anita, and see that you have been deceived just as Eve was deceived!

You have been given the mind of Christ to know the difference, yet you seem to refuse the inclusion of judgment within HIS mind.

Remember, HE WILL JUDGE!

why do you think that is? What is there to judge if none shall perish -

what is there to judge if all sin has been done away with?

what is there to judge, Anita?

for we are told to 'be ye perfect' - yet we are not perfect. Why is that, you think?

Because our flesh is rotten to the core! Our spirit is what lives eternal, but we give in to the desires of the flesh on a moment by moment basis. You do it, I do it - everybody does it, Believers and non-believers alike.

It is the very nature of the flesh to walk in pursuit of selfish desires - while it is the very nature of the regenerated Spirit to walk in newness of life! For it isn't OUR spirit any longer, but the Spirit of Almighty GOD that resides within us, walking according to the will of GOD.

But the man (or woman) without the spirit can't discern the things of the Spirit - which brings me full circle.

I fear that you simply do not trust Him, Anita. You seem to not understand the things of the Spirit, but you are indeed influenced spiritually. We are told to test the spirits - plural - meaning there are many who will seek to influence us.

We also know that the battle we fight is not between men, but between spirits - the Holy Spirit of GOD, and all others NOT of GOD.

including our own spirits when pride and lack of accountability become our position.

I am still in prayer for you.

Sincerely,

Frances

NO none is innocent, Chris - that is where your most faulty theology runs dry.
