PONDERING-Vessels of Wrath vs Vessels of Mercy Paul is one of my favorite writers - Bad boy gone good, how intriguing; and his writings are so compelling and filled with insight that without the discernment of the Holy Spirit to guide us, our understanding of the relationship between divine mercy and judgement vs wrath and destruction is not always evident to the ordinary eye. So, while reading in Romans this morning I was quite drawn by the verses in chapter 9, I was quite enlightened by the Holy Spirit as to the depth of the meaning in these scriptures which talk about vessels of wrath and vessels of mercy. God has endured with much patience the vessels of wrath made for destruction. This, to me can be exemplified as the followers who are eager to preach that God is a God of vengeance, Who is out to destroy anyone who will not adhere to the traditions that men teach are the pathway to God. They appear to walk in light by preaching that God's love is unfailing and His mercy never ending, but expose themselves plainly to be walking in darkness while in the same breath they put narrow and difficult conditions on it so as to make the Kingdom of God exclusive and make His yoke a heavy burden rather than light. In effect they are murderous and attempting to rob God. They become the very objects of wrath and deserving the same destruction that they judge others to be worthy of, and yet they do not see it. That is just one example of the APOSTACY of the unrighteous who disobey the divine command to love one another and all. They are disobedient, hardened of heart and unfit for any good thing. From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We can know which vessel is which and what is in someone's heart simply by listening to their words. Are they speaking of fear, condemnation, wrath and destruction; or of mercy, forgiveness, glory and goodness. But God endures with much patience the vessels of wrath made for destruction, in order to reveal the riches of His glory for the vessels of mercy which He prepared to make known His equitable judgement. The vessels of mercy are the of the Living God who have cleansed their hearts of condemnation allowing for the full inclusion of every vessel small and great that the potter has made. They are true instruments of mercy that are excited about proclaiming the redemptive process, equitable judgement and His all inclusive goodness. The vision of every knee bowing and every tongue confessing that God is Lord of all simply thrills them. So even the vessels of wrath, made for destruction are not displaced from the mercy of God, even though it seems that they deserve the same judgement they mete. What a plain and clear example that the mercy of God is clearly for even those who deserve wrath. Interestingly enough, the verses that come before this proclamation of the vessels are very compelling as well. Let me outline a few of them here: Is there such a thing as unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For He said unto Moses, I will to have mercy on whom I have mercy and I will to have compassion on whom I have compassion. So it depends not on the will of man, but of God who wills to show forth His mercy that His name will be proclaimed in all the earth; He shows mercy on whom He wills and He also hardens the heart of whomever He wills. Those who were not my people I will call "my people," and her who was not beloved I will call "My beloved." Who are you, a man to reply against God? Even more interesting are the lines that appear after the discourse on vessels which explain that the stone which the unrighteous use as a rock to cause stumbling is the very stone that will make them fall. On to Romans 10 we read that the records bear that some men have a zeal for God, but not according to true knowledge. For they being ignorant and are not enlightened of God's righteousness having not submitted themselves unto the same righteousness of God. Say not in your heart who shall ascend into heaven or who shall descend into the deep. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek; for the same Lord over all bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him. How are men to call upon Him in whom they have not heard or believed? How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news proclaiming peace and God's salvation. The gift is for all, we all have one Father; the same Lord is Lord of all - irrelevant of man-made distinctions such as traditions and religious beliefs. There is no place of special privelege nor condemnation, it is an equal playing field in God's Kingdom. None of us can claim that we deserve the mercy of God or the blessings that it brings more than any other. |

GOD is a jealous god - and you mock HIS authority in writing that all are saved because "the same Lord is Lord of all - irrelevant of man-made distinctions such as traditions and religious beliefs." If that were indeed the case, there would be no need whatsoever for the commandment to "Remember the Sabbath, and keep it holy." There would have been no cause whatsoever for GOD to have called HIS people apart from all other peoples and further instruct them to REMAIN APART IN PRACTICE FROM THEIR IDOL WORSHIP!!! How FOOLISH you are! REPENT before your spirit is deceived any longer! What you present here includes those who practice witchcraft, blatant idolatry, satanism, and all manner of occult activities, as these groups have their own "traditions and religious beliefs" - but according to your very flawed and most deceitful position, EVEN THESE are covered by Yeshua's blood! That's right everyone, even those who worship cows as their god! Even those who pray and sacrifice to little statues of a fat man as their god! Even those who call upon spirits through mediums and look for guidance in the stars - Even those who say that Jesus IS NOT the Christ! Those who actually SAY that Yeshua is NOT the MESSIAH! Yes, according to Anita's belief, even those who worship and serve satan himself - through acts of untold evil - They are already saved and committed by GOD to spend all eternity in HEAVEN! WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF WHO HE IS!!!! or worse, in the face of absolute refusal to acknowledge HIS authority IN SPITE of knowing who HE is! OH! - Anita - I am fearful for your position, for the enemy is truly counting you as a successful venture of his! how I pray GOD's mercy and protection upon you! Sincerely, Frances

I think maybe you have confused the understanding of the concept of GOD being LORD to all - for although HE IS LORD of LORDS - and although every knee shall bow - do you not understand that even the devil's knees must tremble when he approaches Almighty GOD? yet we know what his fate is - for the Bible tells us where he will be cast - do not let him deceive you any longer, Anita! Take back that ground and rededicate it unto the LORD! Sincerely, Frances

I posted about Mother Theresa today....she truly had it right, cared about those who were left on the streets to die. She did not care what they believed, they could even be athiests.
