Does anyone else have MS?

Hi,
I am posting this in here because I don't know anywhere else to post it! I have MS and would like to share a friendship with other people that have this disease on here. I found a group with one person in it, but they haven't been on here for over 3 months. Can anyone help me out with what I should do? I know out of over 1,000,000 members someone else has MS. Please let me hear from you!
Lana

HI THERE!

Well, it's very different for a man than a woman. It is usually much worse for a man. And, it also depends on what type of MS he has. Why does he have to wait so long for his MRI? What makes the Dr.'s think he has it anyway? What are his symptoms? As far as me living with it, I function pretty normally. I take injections every other day and I just know my limitations. That is the whole key to successfully living with MS is not pushing yourself more than you should and also starting treatment early! I have had it for 4 1/2 years now and have had no progression of the disease since starting treatment. My brother-in-law also has it and he is doing really well on treatment. He hasn't had any progression in the past 3 years, which is kind of unheard of in men! Another key to doing well is having a great neurologist whom you can trust their decision completely! I hope to hear back from you!

I will be happy to talk to him if you would like. Just let me know what I need to do. So much of it is mind over matter! He must have the right mind set before entering treatment! He must know that he can live with and live a full and long life. It is no longer a life threatening disease unless people let it be! Believe me, I live more than a full life! lol! Let me know what you need me to do and I will be happy to do it!
