What do they do? Get married or not?
I was listening to a program today on the Family Christian Radoi station, on my suirus rodio. They were talking about and taking calls on the subject of marriage and should this one 17 year old girl who is one the Vice presidental canidates I believe is pregant. They were talking about if she should get married or not. I would like to know your vote and obinion on this.
No, are they crazy!
No, they are too young, and dont know what it is all about.
No, they are not equally yoked.
Yes, they have a responsiblity and should have faith that God can wotrk all things for his good.

 I voted yes, they have a responsibility to another life now. Yes they made a mistake, but should the child suffer, for thier own worldly benefit? no! Also, Do we have faith that the Lord can use all things for his good? I do! Should we not show that faith and KNOW that we are thinking of the new life, and not our own life or what will help us our for our benefit, or in this situation thier own self benefit. But as christians should we not live and think in faith? God Bless you all. david

 I voted other. Should a marriage happen that may only end in divorce? Sin was involved and yet a child was conceived but getting married may not be the answer in this case.I've seen that happen too many times and the suffering is greater for the child.Only God knows whether these two ppl are called to be together and whether there still needs to be forgiveness.Just my opinion...Blessings

Yes, a child was conceived. Christ lived his life for us, not for himself. I believe we are also called to die to self. and live for him. Would it not be his way to give his life for this child? I believe these young people should be directed to be married and have faith in the Lord that he can do all things. They should have thier eyes on him and not on the what the world thinks and syas. I wrote this because we seem to be blinded now a days to any kind of faith in him that he can do all things, and use all things for his good. They may struggle and probolly will will, but with faith the Lord can do all things. Gods continued blessings. David

 The only responsile thing to do is go about their lives and ask God's direction. Be willing to be married at some point. If these young people just run into something it can present just as big of roblems as they have now.

Just getting married is solving what? None of us here know what these kids are like and their life dreams. They need to both committ to the child to be the best parents they can be.

Amen PJ. The Lord gave up his life for us, and should they not be directed towards christ and faith in him too, to give up thier life for thier child, and trust the Lord to use all things for good. It is not to say they wont struggle. we all struggle. thats what draws to him more and trusting him more. God Bless you, and thank you for your comment

 Someone on here said that in Gods eyes the two are already married. however, take this into concideration:

Many men in the bible are talked about of having mulitple wives, and other women that they concidered concubines. And concubines ran in the HUNDREDS!!! today, we call that "friends with benifites, F. buddies, and hooking up."

I dont see where God required people like Solomon to marry everyone he did the deed with, and did also forbid poligamy.

I would agree though that these two should marry for the right reasons so that it doesnt end in "The Big D." and cause more problems!

 They arent married now. That is an old testament law that is no longer in effect. Should they give animal sacrifices too?

If the Lord told me to I would! Wouldn't you? We follow the Law now because it is our choice, and it is the ways of the Lord. Does the Lord's ways mean anything to you? I would hope and pray so, but wonder.
So, I ask you what do you think they should? Think in worldly ways as the world? What good is that? Better then the Lord's ways? It sounds like it you believe the ways of the world are better then the Lord's ways?

 the more I have read this the more ridiculous the concept of 2 kids who did something they were not supposed to be doing being judged in an ignorant way.

No one is being judged here in anyway. What is rediculious about two kids as you call them getting married because they have a child together and would have faith in the Lord? What about the rest of the world and us learning the Lord's ways and learning to have faith in the Lord? If that upsets you, what are you here for then? Does the Lord's ways mean anything to you, or are they just something to say you believe in for your self gain? Our life as Christians is about the lord and giving our lifes to him and to others as he does. if thats not your hearts desire then you might be at the wrong site. Don't you know this is a Christian site? where we desire to learn about him and follow his ways. It's not a worldly site were we think and do things after the world.
