The Car Lot

One day I was taking a stroll,
And saw a huge lot full of cars,
They were beautiful! My how they shone,
I bet you could see them from Mars.

I wandered onto the lot,
I was bored, nothing better to do,
And suddenly out of the sky,
Fell ten folks saying, “How do you do?!”

I’d never seen this before,
Alike in whatever they said,
And when they smiled, it seemed that their teeth,
Would meet at the back of their head.

I watched as they ran back and forth,
They reminded me somewhat of mice,
I thought,what would happen if I threw them some cheese?
But all I had with me was rice.

They kept showing cars, I’d say, “No”,
Then I got tired and left,
All I can figure is car salesmen must
Be terribly, terribly deaf.

Or maybe they’ve recently moved here,
From some other country I’d guess,
Because when I would say “No”,
They always thought I’d said “Yes”.

This doesn't really have any spiritual application I guess. I'm just feeling kinda weird. Again....
