I don't believe I will change anyone's mind if they have decided, and refuse to listen to a different point of view. All I will say is that some people take things out of their place, and end up getting confused. We have the right and ability to CHOOSE to FOLLOW God. We do NOT have the ability to SAVE ourselves. To turn toward God isn't the same thing as perfecting ourselves so we can live with God forever. We are created to desire Him. Christ died so we could be His.

We have the right and ability to CHOOSE to FOLLOW God. This is a works doctrine. The gospel is not anyones right but a gift of grace. If Jesus said that you did not choose him but rather he chose you they why do you not believe him? Turning towards God or repentance is a gift from God. It says so in the bible. We must adhere to the bible and not the doctrines of men. Ephesians 2: 5-9 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God Not of works, lest any man should boast. John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 2 Timothy 2: 25,26 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure ( perhaps) will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth. And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images."

I am not Armenian. Thats the stupid part about it.You know what? John Calvin wasnt even saved and you are listening to his bogus thoughts. He was a murderer of a man who exposed him. He believeed in Infant baptism brought salvation. He does not even have one place where he speaks of receiving Christ. Calvinism is a demonic cancer of eletism.It is not the doctrine of the rightly divided word. HOPEFULLY, ONE DAY THE CALVINISTS WILL WAKE UP AND SEE THE SIMPLICITY OF THE SCRIPTURES AND THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST! ... JOHN 14:6 -- JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE!

YES, MAN DOES HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHOOSE SALVATION DUE TO GOD'S SOVEREIGN RIGHT TO MAKE THAT DECISION FOR MANKIND TO HAVE A FREE-WILL. CHECK OUT MY BLOG ONCE AGAIN ABOUT THIS. I KNOW YOU HAVE CHECKED ON THIS BEFORE DUE TO YOUR RESPONSE ABOUT CHOOSING SALVATION. AT ONE TIME, YOU DID AGREE THAT MANKIND HAS A FREE-WILL TO CHOOSE SALVATION. WHAT CHANGED YOUR MIND? WAS CALVINISM TO BLAME CONCERNING THIS? I KNOW IT WAS NOT THE BIBLE DUE TO CALVINISM CONTRADICTING THE CONTEXT OF SCRIPTURE. TypeCWiley To call reformed theology demonic is to say that the reformation was of the Devil...maybe we should have all stayed Catholics...how foolish! The humanist doctrine of man choosing his own salvation is what is really demonic. Man elevates himself as god in the same way as Lucifer did. Humanism denies the carnal wicked nature of man that needs to be born of God. Humanism replaces the gospel with easy believism. Dave Hunt is only after money. His book was poorly researched and based on assumptions. Dave has no understanding of history or theology. He speaks neither Greek nor Hebrew and has only a BA in mathematics. If you can chose your salvation then you have something apart from God in you that is good in order to do this. This is a different gospel and not the gospel preached at the reformation. The same perverted Gospel that will usher in anti christ and his false prophet. It will be humanistic and preach unity of faiths and will deceive many EXCEPT THE VERY ELECT OF GOD!!!! If we could choose God we would not be sinners...the bible says that the carnal man (unregenerate) is in enmity with God.....that means that all sinners hate God. Carnal man is not subject to the will of God....(person ruled by another: somebody who is ruled by a king, queen, or other authority)....NEITHER INDEED CAN BE.....unable to .....those in the flesh cannot please God....IN ANY WAY....you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit.....if so be the Spiit of God dwell in you....(if one is regenerated by the Spirit....born of God,...born from above...new nature...new creature...NOT CHOICE...the Spirit falls where it listeth...WHERE HE DESIRES....) If any man does not have the Spirit of God HE DOES NOT BELONG TO GOD....adopted( The parent chooses the child not the other way around).....God chooses....he regenerates by HIS WILL....man has volition but cannot choose salvation BECAUSE IT IS NOT IN THE CARNAL NATURES ABILITY TO DO SO....free will has to do with mans nature. Man CANNOT KEEP THE LAW AND THAT IS WHY GOD SET UP THE SACRIFICES OF ANIMALS. Romans 8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
