SAVING FAITH.....CALLED BY GOD...CHOSEN FOR SALVATION

GOD CALLS BY ELECTION ALL WHOM HE PURPOSED TO SAVE BY HIS GOOD PLEASURE AND DIVINE FOREKNOWLEGE FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

HUMANIST BELIEVERS TEACH A CONDITIONAL ELECTION BASED ON MANS ABILITY TO CHOOSE AND EXERSISE HIS OWN FAITH THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO HIM AS A CREATED BEING OF GOD. THIS IS CONTRARY TO THE SCRIPTURES. THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT THE UNREGENERATED (THOSE NOT BORN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD)ARE IN A STATE OF UNBELIEF (NO FAITH), BLINDED BY THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, WITHOUT HOPE, REBROBATE CONSERNING GOD, AND ARE DEAD IN TRESSPASSES AND SINS. THEY CANNOT CHOOSE GOD BECAUSE THEY ARE IN ENMITY (HAVE A DEEP SEATED HATRED) TO GOD AND ARE NOT SUBJECT TO HIS WILL NOR EVER CAN BE!

IT IS NOT BY ONES OWN POWER OR FREE WILL THAT ONE IS SAVED BUT BY THE GIFT OF GOD THROUGH THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. FAITH IS NOT THE CAUSE OF ELECTION BUT RATHER IT IS THE GRACE OF GOD THAT SAVES THROUGH THE EFFECT OF FAITH THAT COMES BY THE PREACHING OF GODS WORD TO THE AWAKING OF THE HEART, OPENING OF THE UNDERSTANDING, REVEALED KNOWLEGE AND SAVING POWER OF GOD. THIS EXPERIENCE RESULTS IN A QUICKENING OF THE SPIRIT THROUGH DIVINE ELECTION WHICH RESULTS IN THE BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE.

AN INTELLECTUAL BELIEF IN THE GOSPEL IS NOT CONVERSION. A CONVERSION TO A FALSE GOSPEL IS NOT TRUE SALVATION. THE DEVIL DECIEVES THOSE UNDER HIS POWER. EVEN TO THE POINT THAT THEY THINK THEY ARE SAVED. ONLY GOD CAN SAVE AND ONLY HE KNOWS WHO ARE TRULY HIS ELECT AND WHO ARE THE ENEMIES OF THE CROSS, IMPOSTERS, WHO TRY TO DECIEVE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF DEMONS THE ELECT OF GOD. REJOICE ALL YE OF THE LORD FOR HE WILL KEEP YOU AND HOLD YOU UP BY THE RIGHT HAND OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. YOU ARE SEALED BY HIS SPIRIT UNTO THE END!

Acts 13:48

As many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Ephesians 2: 8-10

For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them

Ephesians 1: 4,5

According as he hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love; having predestinated us unto the adoption of by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will
Romans 8: 28-30

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His , that He might be the first-born among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called; and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified them He also glorified.

Amen...most people on here just want to be amused. I personally like to study Gods word. It brings me more satisfaction as well as Gods wisdom and discernment.

Dave Hunt Debating James White and exposing the eletist false doctrin of the Murderer John Calvin

“White relies on a few passages of arguable interpretation. His strongest case that God predestined only an elect to salvation comes from Acts 13:48 and 2 Thessalonians 2:13. Yet his interpretation does not fit God’s character as so clearly established throughout all of Scripture. Hundreds of Scriptures (I have cited scores of them) declare in the clearest terms that God loves and desires the salvation of all. Some of these White explains away by interpreting world as elect and all men as all classes of men. Whosoever suffers a similar fate, along with God’s love. But dozens of Scriptures to which I called his attention won’t allow such mishandling, so he neither responded to them in this debate, nor referred to them in [his book] The Potter’s Freedom.

“Calvinists say that they preach the gospel so that the elect (whom no one can identify) will hear and believe. They can’t tell anyone, ‘Christ died for YOU.’ But Paul tried to ‘persuade men’ (2 Corinthians 5:11) to believe in Christ. Paul, not being a Calvinist, didn’t know that the elect don’t need to be persuaded and that the nonelect can’t be persuaded. Nor can White rebut the fact that Paul desired to be eternally damned if that would save the Jews (Rom. 9:3). How dare Paul long for the salvation of those whom God ‘for His pleasure’ predestinated to eternal torment! Was Paul not inspired of God?

“In hundreds of verses the Old Testament offerings and feasts of Israel lay the foundation for the sacrifice of Christ, the Lamb of God, ‘who taketh away the sin of the world’ (John 1:29). None of these, from the Passover to the Levitical offerings to the Day of Atonement, was for an elect class within Israel but for all Israel. In his book, White deals with none of these foundational Old Testament examples. Nor would he respond to any references to them in this debate. ...

“Of the brazen serpent, God said, ‘Every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live’ (Numbers 21:. Christ uses this event to explain that He also will be lifted up for sin so that ‘whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life’ (John 3:15). But White avoids these verses in his book and wouldn’t respond to my references to them in this debate. In neither place does White deal with any of the key passages in the Old Testament that contradict Calvinism and provide the foundation for the Cross. When I called his attention to them, he dismissed them as ‘irrelevant.’

“White refers several times to John 6, Romans 8 and 9, and Ephesians 2 as ‘proof’ that man is dead and cannot choose to receive Christ. Yet he ignores the hundreds of verses in which ‘God ... commandeth all men every where to repent’ (Acts 17:30). Does God command repentance from those who can’t hear Him, from whom He withholds the grace to repent, and whom He has already predestinated to the lake of fire?

“White selectively offers Paul’s use of Psalm 14 in Romans 3:11 (‘There is none that seeketh after God’ as proof of man’s inability to seek God. Yet he sidesteps scores of exhortations for men to seek God, assurances that if they sincerely seek they will find Him, and the many examples of those who have sought and found.

“White has no rebuttal for Christ’s exhortation to ‘strive to enter in at the strait gate’ (Luke 13:24), for the prodigal’s repentant ‘I will arise and go to my father’ (Luke 15:1, for good ground being an ‘honest and good heart’ (Luke 8:15), or for faith being attributed to individuals (Matthew 9:22; 15:28; Mark 10:52; Luke 7:50; 17:19).

“Non-Calvinists can assure all men, ‘God loves YOU; Christ died for YOUR sins.’ We know that all who believe His promise to ‘whosoever will’ are saved eternally” (Dave Hunt, “Final Denial,” Debating Calvinism: Five Points, Two Views by Dave Hunt and James White, Sisters, OR: Multnomah Publishers, 2004, pp. 423-427).

Read James Whites argument with Dave Hunt (who has no training in the Hebrew or Greek languages). If Paul says that repentance is a gift of God how can one repent of his own recognizance? The gospel is not an offer but a proclamation, and salvation is not a gift offered but a gift bestowed.

"Every good and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" (Jas. 1:17). "No one can receive anything except what is given him from heaven" (John 3:27) "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly things in Christ." (Eph 1:3)

While God commands all men everywhere to repent and believe the gospel, that a command does not imply natural ability apart from the Holy Spirit. The commands of God are given, not to show ability but to reveal inability and sin (Rom 3:19, 20). In other words, even the very command to believe the gospel brings us to despair of all hope from ourselves, and it is there when we come to recognize our spiritual impotence, we know the Spirit is finally doing a work of grace in our lives. The very beginning and desire for faith and affection for Christ, cannot be ascribed to the unspiritual nature, but rather, comes through regeneration (1 John 5:1; John 1:13; 3:3; 6:37, 39, 63-65) but those who say that this ability belongs to us by nature and not by the effectual grace conferred by Christ, that is, by the communication of Christ by the Holy Spirit who Himself changes our affections, disarms our hostility and turns our will from unbelief to faith and turns our love for darkness to a love for light. Faith is not produced by our unregenerated human nature (1 Cor 2:12, 14; Rom 9:16).

The grace of Jesus Christ, does not depend on the humility or obedience of man for it is because of the mercy of Jesus Christ that we are obedient and humble (1 Cor. 15:10). The natural man does not form right opinions or produce any right choices with regard to redemption nor can he positively respond to the preaching of the gospel simply through his natural powers without the Holy Spirit opening his blind eyes, unplugging his deaf ears and turning his natural heart of stone to a heart of flesh. For, as the Scripture itself affirms, we are not "competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God" (2 Cor. 3:5). Apart from Jesus Christ we can do nothing.

The outward revelation of God to our nature is not apprehended spiritually by the natural mind, nor received by the fallen heart, for the revelation of God must be illumined by the Holy Spirit (Matt. 16:17; 1 Cor. 12:3; 1 Thess 4:5) who transforms our love of sin to a love of Christ. The natural mind may intellectually understand the words being said, but they do not enter his hostile and unfriendly heart. Only the love of Christ apprehended with a new heart and new eyes will, in fact receive Him.

Only God can change us to believe and obey. It is not about our willing, but of God's mercy that makes us willing (Rom 9:16). All redemptive blessings find their source in Christ (Eph 1:3).

All one has to do is preach the unmerited gift of Gods grace through Jesus Christ and that enmity comes to the surface in man. Therein can one tell who is really born of God and those who have a deep seated hatred and hostility to the true gospel and are humanist Christians. The humanist love all gospel they preach goes to the dogs and we see the hatred, animosity, hostility, and murder, from the fallen nature come out like a raging lion!

Actually no it does not.

Forgiveness

stop blaming, the mental, emotional and/or spiritual process of ceasing to feel resentment or anger against another person for a perceived offense, difference or mistake, or ceasing to demand punishment or restitution.

Repentance

remorse for your past conduct, In Biblical Hebrew, the idea of repentance is represented by two verbs: שוב shuv (to return) and נחם nicham (to feel sorrow). To return to God.

The bible says repentance ( to return to God ) is granted by God. is a gift!! The person then is able to understand the truth and be released from Satan's domain. How clear can you get? To trust in a works doctrine (salvation through mans ability, works of any kind, even ones own faith or intellectual understanding) will send you to hell.Only those born of God by the power of the holy Spirit are true Christians.

2 Timothy 2: 25,26

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

No! you don't get my point!
Just simply: If one wants to be forgiven, one must regrets the faults done!!

Just to be forgiven, should not mean just to FORGET the offence!!

One cannot reget the faults done until he recognizes them as sin and one has not the ability of his own self to recognize sin because he is a sinner, loves to sin, thinks it is normal. That is why we must be born again and given a new nature by God. Only godly sorrow (sorrow given by God) works repentance not to be repented of again but the sorrow of the world ( human sorrow) is death...does not make one come alive unto God.
