THE GREAT CITY BABYLON, NEW YORK CITY. The very center of this huge trading colossus is THE GREAT CITY BABYLON, NEW YORK CITY. The largest corporations of America, and the world, have headquarters or offices either in or near NEW YORK CITY. TO CONDUCT TRANSACTIONS ON WALL STREET and the World Trade Center. The "rich men" all have offices in New York, regardless of their HOME NATION. New York is THE IMAGE OF BABYLON, THE GREATEST CITY IN THE WORLD. And the KINGS OF THE EARTH, who have committed FORNICATION AND LIVED DELICIOUSLY WITH HER, SHALL BEWAIL HER, AND LAMENT FOR HER, when they shall see the smoke of HER BURNING Revelation 18:9 Babylon America is the only nation that fulfills these parameters when compared to the other restrictions of the prophets. There is no other nation upon earth that even comes close. There is not any GROUP OF NATIONS that comes close. If Babylon is indeed the richest nation in the world, then it stands to reason that her citizens would also enjoy the highest standard of living in the world. This is not to say there are not the poor in Babylon, but that the average citizen of the country would enjoy a standard of living UNKNOWN to the vast majority of the earth's population. The wealth and style of living in Babylon is one of opulence, pleasure, greed and luxury. • Isaiah 47:8 "given to pleasures." • Isaiah 47:9 "great abundance of thine enchantments." • Jeremiah 50:37 "her horses...her chariots, her treasures..." • Jeremiah 50:38 "they are MAD UPON THEIR IDOLS." • Jeremiah 51:13 "abundant in treasure." • Jeremiah 51:13 "the measure of thy covetousness." • Revelation 18:3 "abundance of her delicacies." • Revelation 18: 7 "and lived deliciously." • Revelation 18: 14 "all things which were dainty and goodly..." • Revelation 18:16 "clothed in fine linen, and purple and scarlet." • Revelation 18:19 "by reason of her costliness." The symbol of THIS COLLECTIVE EFFORT OF UNIFIED MANKIND WAS THE GREAT TOWER. The great tower was THE SYMBOL OF REBELLION, and the central part of that rebellion was TO UNIFY, TO FORGE A ONE WORLD SYSTEM, A COLLECTIVE SYSTEM. So from its beginning, Babylon means 1. REBELLION 2. IT IS THE LEADER IN THE ATTEMPT TO UNIFY MAN INTO ONE COLLECTIVE WHOLE. (New World Order) 3. IT WILL HAVE A TOWER THAT IS THE SYMBOL OF THIS UNIFICATION EFFORT. Therefore IT WILL BE IN DEFIANCE OF GOD'S CLEARLY STATED INTENTS. And the Lord came down to see the CITY and THE TOWER, which the OF MEN BUILDED. And the Lord said, BEHOLD THE PEOPLE IS ONE, AND THEY HAVE ALL ONE LANGUAGE;and THIS THEY BEGIN TO DO and NOW NOTHING will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there CONFOUND THEIR LANGUAGE, that they may NOT UNDERSTAND ONE ANOTHER'S SPEECH. SO THE LORD SCATTERED THEM ABROAD FROM THENCE UPON THE FACE OF ALL THE EARTH: and THEY LEFT OFF TO BUILD THE CITY. Therefore is the name of it BABEL; BECAUSE THE LORD DID THERE CONFOUND THE LANGUAGE OF ALL THE EARTH: and from THENCE DID THE LORDSCATTER THEM ABROAD UPON THE FACE OF ALL THE EARTH Genesis 11:5-9 Babylon is, therefore, just as Jesus claimed it would be, A NATION OF A MULTITUDE OF TRIBES, TONGUES, PEOPLES, AND RACES. Because Babylon is called A NATION by God Himself, it is obvious that ALL OF THESE MIXED MULTITUDES come to the SHORES OF AMERICA to FORGE THEIR MIGHTY SINGULAR NATION. You see, God never lies, only mankind lies. The nation, Babylon the Great then, IS A NATION MADE UP OF MIXED MULTITUDES, ALL OF WHOM UNIFY into a COLLECTIVE EFFORT to forge the GREATEST NATION ON EARTH. One of the parameters of Babylon is that SHE IS THE SEAT OF THE KINGDOMS, THE THRONE OF THE WHOLE EARTH: Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin OF BABYLON, sit on the ground:THERE IS NO THRONE,O of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no longer be called TENDER AND DELICATEIsaiah 47:1 [C  Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! Sister, I think you are close to the mark, but not quite on it. The Babylon that the world mourns will be all of America, I believe. The Bible says in an hour it will be gone, but will probably be the space of seconds...the time it takes an ElectroMagnetic Pulse to cross the continent... DRM Without love, there is no life...

lovegrace3 Unfortunately Americans have Americanized Christianity. The God is love theme has distorted the gospel. God has written that he will bring judgment on the world. America as well. loki2007 Canada will not be exempt from Gods judgment...only difference is that Canada does not claim to be a Christian nation...the American hypocricy is so evident to the rest of the world ..... It does seem to be Mystery Babylon and Babylon The Great in Chapters 18 and 19. If this is the case, the latter is America. I don't think all the verses from Chapters 17 and 18 describe America though. For example 17:6, "drunk with the blood of the saints." That cannot possibly be America.

Thats because Babylon is 3 fold. Mystery babylon- the false Church The Nation and city Babylon- America Babylon system-the secular world system All are connected. Thats why you have some who believe in one or the other, not taking into account that God always has a parallel of the spiritual with the natural. Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name!
