SIN CANNOT STAND IN THE PRESENCE OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS If you are in Christ then the blood of Jesus the of God continually cleanses you from all unrighteousness! The power of sin is broken...you are delivered from death, hell and the grave!!! Those who are in Christ have put off the old man with its natural affections and lusts and are created anew in Christ's righteousness and true Holiness! You cannot see God without being clothed in Christ's righteousness and have been imparted with his holiness! It is a gift that you cannot earn! If you live like the devil then you belong to the devil but if you are in Christ you have been raised from the dead and set free from THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH!! Do not let that religious spirit condemn you, for when God the father looks at you he sees Jesus Christ the righteous and you in him. Without spot, holy and blameless before him in love. You can never win kuddos with God...it is only the blood of Jesus that counts for all eternity! It comes as no surprise, that Satan and his ministers utterly despise the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and add works to the gospel. Neither should it be hard to understand why God’s true saints have always rejoiced in the fact that God’s shed His blood on their behalf. There is nothing in this universe that Satan hates more than the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and the free gift of grace it brings.  It is innocent blood (Mat. 27:3-4; I Pet. 1:19). It is precious blood (I Pet. 1:18-19). It is blood that washed and continually cleanses Christians from their sin and sins (Rev. 1:5; I Jn. 1  ). It is blood that makes Christians kings and priests unto God (Rev. 1:5-6; 5:9-10). It is blood that exempts Christians from God’s wrath (Ex. 12:13; Rom. 3:25). It is the blood of a just Person (Mat. 27:24). It is the blood of the Lamb of God (Rev. 12:11). It is God’s blood (Acts 20:2  . It is blood with which the church has been purchased (Acts 20:2 . It is blood that purges the Christian’s conscience from dead works and enables him to serve the living God (Heb. 9:14). It is the blood of the New Testament or New Covenant (Mat. 26:28; Mk. 14:24; Lk. 22:20; I Cor. 11:25; Heb. 13:20). It is blood that forms the basis of the Christian’s justification (Rom. 5:9), redemption and forgiveness of sins (Eph. 1 ; Col. 1:14; Heb. 9:12; I Pet. 1:18-19; Rev. 5:9), remission of sins (Mat. 26:28; Lev. 17:11; Heb. 9:22), sanctification (Heb. 13:12), eternal spiritual life (Jn. 6:53-54), communion with God (I Cor. 10:16; Eph. 2:13), and peace with God (Col. 1:20). It is blood that serves as a means of overcoming Satan (Rev. 7:14; 12:11).  Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images." |
