A MAJOR SIGN THAT ONE HAS HUMANISTIC BELIEFS THE BIGGEST SIGN IS ...EYES ON SELF...GET THE POINT????. I HAVE THESE GIFTS..... I HAVE ACCEPTED JESUS AS MY SAVIOR... I AM CHANGING FOR THE BETTER.... I AM DOING MY BEST.... I AM GOOD ENOUGH.... I AM A FREE MORAL AGENT... I CAN CHOOSE MY OWN WAY... I LED HIM TO JESUS... I AM A GOOD PERSON... I DO NOT DO ANYTHING THAT BAD.... I CAN LOOSE MY SALVATION... I WILL SUFFER FOR JESUS.... I AM BEING CONFORMED INTO HIS IMAGE... I GIVE YOU MY HEART LORD.... I GIVE YOU MY LIFE LORD.... I WILL NEVER DENY YOU LORD.... I WILL FOLLOW YOU LORD....  Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images." |

No Kim, You also advocate the idea that I dont have to keep God's Law. thats what humanism is. thats exalting self over God instead of allowing Him to have Lordship over your life. Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments. --Jesus.

Or to put it another way... this is Humanism: I will do as I want to, and not what the Creator God tells me I will decide what day the Sabbath is I will let the Pope, a mere created man change God's Law and then I will bow down to his will instead of to God I will decide that I dont have to follow God's will but dream up my own way instead I will decide all day long what I want to do instead of submitting to the Holy Spirit and God's ways I will exalt myself if I do any good works instead of acknowleging God is my righteousness and that He did them through me ..thats more like it, Kim I will Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments. --Jesus.

YOUNG53M Awesome!!! When people say...oh Lord I give you everything, my whole life,.......it is so arrogant...what makes us so special that God needs us??? Man is only worthy of death and we should praise the Lord for his mercy for we are undeserving of the sacrifice he made for us....can you imagine? He was beaten and crucified to deliver us from death and we say....I give my life to you....what an affront to the blood of Jesus!! Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. I walk after the Spirit because the Spirit of God lives in me and I live and move and have my being in the Spirit. Romans 8:9,10 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. The whole point of humanism is to do things in ones own ability....Grace is completely empty of self striving...JESUS DID IT ALL...IT IS FINNISHED!! You are still keeping the law...how sad when Jesus went through all that suffering....  Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images."
