Needed my friends..... I never realised, then again I probably did, what a place of solace this is to me. I have had a rough couple of days, and today I just needed to "connect", to feel a whole bunch of love, so I read the comments on my last post. I guess God needed me to see this today coz He wanted to show me that I am very much loved by many people. Thank you....for your friendship....your prayers...it means more than you could ever know. I am spending a lot of time with God, listening to the Bible on CD, even while I am asleep, listening to praise music, reading His Word at other times, and just praying. He has already told me important stuff. This week, I am turning off the computer, turning off the tv, turning off the radio.....I am just going to pray and read the Bible. I am not going to talk on the phone, not going out with my friends, and apart from doing the daily necessities, like work and chores, I am going to lock myself in my bedroom and just spend time with God. I have healing that I need in some areas, guidance in others, and most of all just a need to soak in the Holy Spirit and relish His presence. Your prayers are my lifeline! I believe your prayers carried me through a very dark moment, where I am ashamed to admit I had thoughts of taking my own life...anything to escape the pain. Don't be shocked, no matter how strong your faith is, sometimes satan can attack at your weakest most vulnerable point. And oh boy, am I ever under attack! Well that's my progress report, and as you can see, I really need this time away with God! Hugs  and love  to you all and I will see you when I am feeling stronger! ((((((((HUGS))))))))) Oh no, Pen!! I'm always here for you if you need to vent or an ear. But, God told me to write the latest post, it might freak you out but.... It came from me deep in prayer my love!! I didn't know who it was for when I read what came thru my fingers. Actually another person came to mind but now that you mentioned what you mentioned....please read. Many people need to hear this! Love your heart Pen - cause I see how wonderful and loving it is and what you give to others is so much and many here, including myself love you and value your friendship very much!! Pen, I am happy for you, that you have worked through some stuff already. I'll be praying that God will show you the way through this dark tunnel. He is with you every step of the way. Abba, I thank you that you are with Pen right now as she is going through the dark valley, but you are with her and you will show her the way. I thank you that in these times you are closer than we can imagine, even if we do no feel you, you are there, you are protecting our souls from the attacks of our enemy. Thank you Abba, we love you. Pen - hon dont strive to do soo much for God, relax, let yrself of the hook and Know that God will guide you on the right path. When I am far from him I used to lock myself away and pray and read and pray and read till I found his still small voice at the times when I waited for him. Just be careful all the reading and praying dont burn ya out - its soo easy done. Annother idea and I do this for ppl often: Ask someone you really trust to carry yr prayer requests for a week, and just you concentrate on getting back to God for you, not for everyone and everything else. This really helps I Love ya babe xxxx
