~ First day at ma new job and it was.......~ BORING !!!!!!!!!!  They mixed up the days, the guy whos supposed to be training me was off today, and the team was short staffed which meant no one was free to train me up.. I did about 1 hours work in 8 hours... the other 7? watched my fingernails grow and listened to the others on calls and watched what they was doing.. Least I got paid for the study on my nails.. right? RIGHT..  My job as I found out today in full is dealing with people who have brought furniture from our Family run store.. When they have them delivered, if there are any problems, they call us.. NO not ghostbusters, Customer services to deal with it.. I got the impression on the interview, that it was a call, a form and updating our database..  NO.. its that plus calling the inspectors and arranging the fitting/repairers date, re-ordering furniture and credit where due.. Its a whole busy job.. And I think I will love it and like chapscot said, "Find a job you love, and you'll never have to work again".. how true..

Dear Frazzie well ...but there could be worse ways to spend the work day. there's always tomorrow ... just be thankful for this first day when you are buried in it deep. i am just waiting for my next job to be dropped on my head.. cya , peace and blessingz.. Lisa

And maybe if you have another slow day you can watch your hair grow. It sounds like you might have benefited from just spending the day observing the operation. GBY
