Were the Apostles fiscally Rich?

The answer of course is no. The place in the scriptures where a fellowship group is spoken to take care of, finacially its leader is one of taking care of the basic needs.

There was no fortune involved in that either.

Many of the Apostles that brought forth the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ were marytered in the end.

The Gospel is written as foolishness to those that perish. The Gospel is also free.

That same Gospel has all of your needs met according to the riches and Glory that are in Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christs' Glory is his death and resurection on that Cross. It has always offended people.

It always will. You have the davinci code and the stupid family toomb going on now.

Jesus said he came not to bring Peace but a sword.

Here we have people preaching Jesus plus this or that, when it is a finished work on that cross.

You have people that say that you have to give in order to get, and yet that is not what God says. He has a banquet table for all believers. The provision is already there and it is your heritage as a believer...not something you earn

Seed Faith is the biggest lie going. Look around...these people are all millionaires from teaching it and living in mansions. They have an answer for it, but it is not a biblical one.

Whewwwwweeeeeeee. I totally agree and not only that anyone should be pure D ashamed to be fiscally rich as long as there is one starving, sick or homeless person left on this planet. The least shall be the greatest and the last shall be first. When Christ comes to rescue His chosen what a big surprise to those who are failing to participate in Christianity altogether, but an even bigger one to the churches who believe we are saved or provided for for any other reason that pure grace. That's okay if I love to give till I have nothing left, so what if I am poor and homeless; my treasures are stored up in heaven.
MmmmMmmmmMmmmmmm

I believe people should help other people, but I dont think anyone should be ashamed to be able to live without struggling til thier next paycheck. I am wayyyyyy far from being rich, but I still help my friends when they need it. I'm certainly not looking for a pat on the back..i think it should be the norm. HOWEVER, if someone is starving or homeless and you help..and then help..and then help and they don't try to survive....sorry, the bank closes. I've gotten it up the backside more than once. I'm not jaded, but if you have to work 3 jobs to make it..then do it, because i'm not going to work my 3 jobs to support your lazy self. And I don't feel guilty. LOL

Sorry but its not true that we dont have to give in order to get. You have to give in order to get and you have to die in order to live. Deny yourself take up your cross and follow Jesus.

Lk:6:38: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Jn:12:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Ti:2:14: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity

Should Know...that has nothing to do with the Gospel. Jn 12:24 is in the old covenant. and so is Luke....Things changed TheNew Covenant is not the Old Covenant.

shouldknow, the scripture you quoted is not talking about money it is talking about forgiveness. Just read the scripture immediately before it.

It doesnt matter if it is specifically speaking about money or not. It is the principle throughout the Bible... If you want one specifically about money, here you go...

Matthew 25:

27: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28: Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29: For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30: And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

this "I dont have to do anything" religion isnt biblical at all.

James 1:
20: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21: Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22: But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23: For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25: But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26: If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27: Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Ti:2:14: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity
