Press-on eyeshadow?

Since I was told that wearing makeup was mandatory for female employees, along with heels no bigger than 3 inches and no facial piercings, I had been thinking that updating my makeup might be a good idea, I have eye shadows that are two years old and lipsticks that are,,,,can't remember how long ago I bought those, so I just put all of them in the garbage.
So I wen shopping the other day for a new foundation,,It took me a whole week to decide wich one to get!, I had to go back to the makeup section on 3 separete occasions, they have sooo many choices, some stuff that I had no idea was possible to do, like press on nail polish and press and rub eye shadow from Avon, the eye shadow comes complete with countour and highlights shades, all you do is peel the protective film, press the paper on your lid and gently press or rub it on, and it's all done! it's so easy and it cuts your applying time in half. And how abou the press on nail polish? forget about the liquids that dry in 60 seconds, this stuff is completely dry to start with!
Let's talk about the foundaion choices out there now, Talk about confusion! there's mousse, mineral powders, foundation compacts and so many formulas that make it so very difficult to know wich one to get! Whatever happened to the good old days when all you had to do was to, just get the liquid foundation that best suited your complexion and that was it, no confussion or stess on which stuff to get. I must confess that I felt old, I usually don't wear makeup unless I have to, I hadn't realized how much that stuff has changed.

Life is an adventure.

I do not wear a lot of make-up either. Lol, have fought the foundation battle and got through ok.

I find that on the mature skin, powders tend to make you look older and often washed out.

Good luck, hope you find the one made for you.

Hi there, just had to pop in to say hi.

I might just have to get my oldest daughter to come shopping with me, that should not be difficult to do

I rarely wear make-up. I wear tinted mosturizer, no eye shadow and gloss instead of lipstick.
Yeppers, it's very confusing...happy hunting.

Lord, keep one hand on my shoulder and one hand over my mouth!
