love is blind Or is it? Can we love someone and still be very much aware of that person's flaws? I belive so. Life is an adventure. |

I think so too. We choose to love when we know the person's flaws, when they are driving us so crazy that we can't even think or when they say things that hurt us. Love is blind. My pastor's wife said before marriage to keep your eyes wide open and after, to keep them half shut. So maybe love is half blind!!

Yep. But sometimes it's not healthy to love them if their flaws destroy us!!! We have to know when it's an unhealthy love!!!

yep, in that case loving them at a very long distance is a better idea than keeping our eyes half-closed or half-open. Life is an adventure.

I believe that Love real Love Gods LOVE is Umconditional and Everlasting ... it never fails (!!!) (1 Corinth CH 13) All of us who KNOW GOD personally are on a jouney with God LEARNING TO lOVE and be loved in return To do this we need to be able to RECEIVE Gods LOVE first before we can give it to/share it with others.We must learn also to LOVE OOURSLEVES too Jesus said LOVE your neighbour as YOURSELF we will find this extremely difficult if we dont learn to Love ourselves.... this will take time to do! Finally True(God's) Love is not blind!!! That can be just naivety !(Sometimes People have entered disasterous relationships because they did not pay attention to inner alarm bells ringing when the guy/girl is being controlling or physically hurts themwhile dating or when engaged this will not necessarily change beacsue they are married!!!) Love is aware of the other person's faults but chooses to LOVE them IN SPITE OF THEIR FAULTS as God chooses to Love us knowing all about our bad traits, too!!! We can all learn to LOve as God does as his Live lives in us Romans Ch 5 v 5
