It's snowing, and snowing

It's been snowing since this morning and looks like it will snow all night!.
I'm going to have to shovel tomorrow.
A co-worker actually voluntered to come to my house and shovel my sidewalk.
I had to say no-thanks, he's an older man and i would worry about him having a heart attack shoveling my sidewalk, it has happend, you know!
people can die shoveling snow. I had to laugh when
Dennis tried to "take care of me" just like he takes care of his wife. I told him not to worry about me, i can take care of myself, i have been doing it for,,like, forever, he just looked at me like i didn't know what i was doing.
I told him to go take care of his wife instead, he offered to come to help me if i get stuck in the snow like i did last year, i said, "I have towing coverage and i always carry my cell with me, but thanks Dennis", then I think that we argued about him also having the same coverage, him having a big ass-truck and wanting to help me out if i needed it, me saying no thanks, i'll be carful, i always avoid driving in bad weather, etc, then he just left after giving me an odd look.
I know that i should be grateful that he was offering his help but, i don't need it, i like doing things my way, i've always done it my way and i like to keep it that way, besides,,the tought of having my married co-worker shoveling my sidewalk makes me feel dirty, even if his wife thinks that they are doing me a favor, eeeww.

Snow? I'd prefer that to the freezing rain we're getting in my area.

Isaiah 66:2b; But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.

No snow in North Carolina?, you are missing all the fun, icy roads, black ice, snow drifts, high heating bills,,now we can't leave our cars warming up while we wait inside becouse if the cops see the cars un-attended, we can get a ticket, it's their way of preventing thiefs from driving away in your car whith your children in the back seat (some parents leave the kids inside the car with the heater on when making short stops, when they came back, car and kids are gone) other than that, snow is great.

We continue to have freezing mist off and on all day. I missed church for the icy roads.

Tomorrow night we have a winter storm watch until Tuesday evening.

Black ice is something I can do without and never miss it. But the worst thing about black ice is the denial of it's existence by people who have never experienced it. Especially over the road drivers from the south who think that they can handle anything because they are professional drivers, so they are trucking along at 70 MPH honking their air horns and full of road rage for the locals who are going less then half that speed.

However the REAL professionals know that we mere humans can not change the laws of physics.
I pray that the psudo professional drivers learn about black ice without jack knifing their rigs, or running others off the road, and I pray it almost every time I get in a car at this time of year.

Isaiah 66:2b; But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.

I pray too!, sometimes i just wanna pack my things and move to a warm state, winter driving in CO. is not always fun and gas is just getting to expensive to get a 4-by-4.

Well sister, you got more coming your way.
Currently in the mid part of the country there is freezing rain from Oklahoma City to Des Moines. North of that up to the Twin Cities is snow.
I'm on the northern most fringes of the freezing rain which is now arriving, and expected to accumilate a couple tenths of an inch before changing to all snow, of which 4 to 6 inches is expected by this time tomorrow night.

All this stuff will be in your neck of the woods by late Wed. and early Thur. God bless.

You are right Byron!, it's tuesday morning,i just made it to work and let me tell you, the roads are very slippery, it's snowing and it will keep snowing, they say about six inches or five of snow by the end of the day. But we have electricity and heat, i really feel bad for all those people who are without heat due to the ice storms!, my prayers are with them also
