Hooray!!!

Losing a debit card is so much fun! Especially when you don't realize it for several days.

If I found a credit card, I so would never use it. NO freakin way.

Some people think it's ok to clear out an account and then some...racking up 160 something bucks in overdraft fees beyond the original stolen money.

Ain't life grand for those with free gas.

I already shut the card off. I have to go tomorrow morning before work and get a new card..then change all my direct debits.

Thank GOD, that even though the charges were made before my mortgage was paid and before my cell phone bill was taken out...they didn't show up until 3 days later. My bills were paid and not bounced.

honey you want to hear a story how about all your bank accounts hanked into? try to get this fixed..as I was in bank trying to get all fixed a charge came in on my account for $1999.00.they opened charges in my name. all my accounts are red flagged..why can't they put money in?God help them if I find them....I will have to repent again. do not order anything on line.the only place i gave credit info was on this little o site. huh?

Crazy huh??
Well...it doesn't necessarily mean the info came from this site. There are computer programs that are credit card generators..they come up with appropriate numbers and then people use them to shop online.
My card was just lost or taken from my purse..it's just not there. I don't know. It's a huge hassle. And unfortunately it's very common so its much easier to deal with at the bank.
Did you get your money back?

i had somebody open a american express card in my name, my guess it was from one of the scammers i met early on here but just a hunch, anyway i get a call from them to ask if i had order a big screen tv, dvd player, some fancy mobile phone and all kinds of stuff like that for like 4000 dollars, hahahaha, i laughed at them and said i don't spend that much money on me for a whole year, so i was lucky they called me first as they had my address up in new york and i am way down south in florida, hahahaha, cheers

May the Lord bless you and keep you

PTL - AMEN to that - FOREVERINHIM. I can almost imagine how that changed the course of that day and could just see that happening.
ON FIRE - I like to hear that. See Satan thought he was going to take the wind from your sails and not allow you to be in the right spirits to praise our Lords name and glorify HIM to the highest and you turned him around Hallelujah.

God Bless you Gil. Silver lining attitude only way to be. We live that way in my house.

((((((Interpretation))))) - So sorry this happened to you but I am so glad to hear everything cleared posted prior. Those are major bills. That would have been an added headache and stress you didn't need on top of it all.

Sorry to hear about that too Jodi and Dundeal. Thankfully that never happened to me, but now I am going to check all my accounts!! You just never know!

Peace and love,
Blessings,
Jers

Thank you for noticing the upside of the situation. That was my point
The reason I found out it happened was because my daughter has an account attached to my accounts. We started it before she was 18 so it had to be in my name..now her name is on it too. Anyway..she asked me to go online and check her balance. My online banking shows all of my accounts and in red, my debit card account balance was -$167 HUH?? My daughter says...CALL THEM..CALL THEM NOW!!
lol

I just had this happen to me this past May .. though it was an online place getting ahold of my number somehow (had never heard of them) and they STOLE almost 1200$ out of my account! .. I was flippin' ..

The bank though, put the money back in for me along with the charges for things that 'bounced' but were paid .. and went after them for the money ..

Will your bank do the same? Fraudulent use of your card .. seems you shouldnt be held accountable for the charges .. ?? well .. hoping so anyways ..

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh not good! I've used my card a million times online and have been fortunate so far.
Luckily, my bank is a local community bank so they saw that it was used at places in an area I don't frequent and for gas amounts that would never fit in my little car. lol

Good post..nothing. Bad news....all over it. Hmmm

According to the woman on the phone last night, they bank will cover it. I couldve filed with her last night but it would've taken a week or so for everything to go through..the money,,the new card. She said if i go to the bank in person, it's done right away..or within a day or 2, but I get the new card on the spot.
