Last night..!!!. (dont read it if you don't like sox)lol An amazing Red Sox vs. Devil Rays game at Tropicana Field in St Pete. I was happy to see Papelbon pitch. He came in for a single inning 2/3 of the way through or so. And then he threw it in the toilet!! First pitch was awesome..then he let the rays hit, hit hit that inning away until they were at a tie with the sox. UGH!!! Then they dragged him outta there. It was kinda sad. He really is an awesome closing pitcher who had a bad inning. ANYWAY...it was tied 6 to 6 (I realize that 99% of you all couldn't care less..but this is my blog. LOL ) 3 extra innings!!! At the top of the 12th inning, sox got 6 more runs. 2 of them were walked in. The stanky rays pitcher walked 6 batters in a row. Soooo....I got out of there at right around 1am. It was an exciting game, but I was disappointed to not have seen a Manny grand slam or even an Ortiz outta here home run. Oh well..maybe next time. It was fun to see cocoa crisp and his floating strike zone. LOL and YOUK YOUK YOUK Youkilis was The Man!!! I don't understand how some people say that baseball is too boring. NO WAY! Especially in a stadium where EASILY 75% of the crowd was rooting for the out of towners. The beantowners. HEH HEH It felt like home. I hadn't heard that many boston accents in one place before without actually being in Boston. LOL Best line of the night.... From the woman in front of me, with an obvious mass accent. Her 1 yr old was dressed in a devil rays dress. ''My husband is going to absolutely KILL me if he sees his in these clothes, but I want her to get on TV'' |
