Could you eat like I do??

I know...I'm a little bit of a nut case. But it works for me. heh heh heh
Most of my life I had diet troubles. In high school I took loads of diet pills and starved myself for weeks on end..but I was never bone skinny. After I was married and pregnant, I couldnt do awful things like that to my body anymore and my screwed up metabolism threw a ton of weight on me. After the baby I did crazy diets and lost it..cabbage soup, the crazy hot heart diet. BLAH!
When my were 8 and 10, I got sick and tired of years and years of diets that just barely kept me in the acceptable weight range. I gave up and got really really fat for a few years. About 9 years or so ago I ended up doing an Atkins type of thing. I didn't know about Atkins, but someone told me to cut out white stuff..rice, bread, pasta etc and I dropped 100 and something pounds like magic. I followed that style of eating for many years but as before just stayed within a slightly less than fatty range. LOL (It was AFTER this loss that I found out I had thyroid issues..so people who say they can't do it because of that..baloney!)
A year ago, I got on a cheese kick and it tore me up. I usually have a steel stomach, but this time it bothered me. I ended up going to the farmers market and I started eating all the stuff that Atkins says you're not supposed to eat for the high sugar or high carb content. Lots of fruit..tomatoes..etc.
HOLY MOLY! I was eating more than I ever had in my life and I dropped 35 pounds!!
Soooo....now I do this kind of eating most of the time. Not that I don't hit the pizza shop or chinese buffet every once in a while...or too often like i've done the past few weeks. UGH!
Now I'm paying for it and this is my diet for a few days til the cravings and a few pounds are gone(however my normal diet isn't far removed).....Could you do it? Its easier than it sounds.

Breakfast...COFFEE!! (raw food enthusiast or not..I love coffee and refuse to give it up in the morning...However I do use organic half and half and tupelo honey) Carrots dunked in a mixture of avocado, salsa and hot peppers. Mmmmmm I could eat this til I explode!!

The rest of the day...3 quarts of green smoothie. It took me 2 months to finally try this cause it sounds nasty..but its good stuff. In a good blender like Vitamix,,bananas, water, frozen berries and greens
A huge salad with braggs raw organic dressing.
Late night after work..nectarines and grapes.
All day, Lots of water and soda water with fresh lemon juice.

I eat grass fed beef and wild salmon and more often than I should I throw in some indian buffet and good mexican food (everything's better on a tortilla) But this is my 'after indulgence' strictness...
Can you do it? Or am I too extreme? LOL
No problem....it's cake.
That's disgusting! Give me my soy and corn fed beef and pesticide infused potatoes!
That's not healthy..you're insane.
I'd rather tempt my arteries with a daily dose of pizza or MickeyD's
I've never eaten like that but I'm game to try.
I'm genetically hot, I can eat what I want.

Whenever I was pregnant I always ate eggplant on my pizza. ALWAYS The pizza guy in town always knew when I was pregnant before most of my family and friends did, because I would order eggplant all the time and especially EVERY time I was pregnant.

My husband tried to get me in trouble with the Dr, "telling on me" thinking he was getting me in trouble and the Dr. told him it was ok because I was getting almost all the food groups in one meal. Of course, I was very happy to hear that!!!!

I love Pizza AND Eggplant!!!! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I don't eat cakes, cookies, pies or most of that type stuff.

What I am addicted to and I am not ashamed to admit it.....POTATO CHIPS!! I've checked the phone book several times and there are NO 12 Step Programs for this but there should be!!! I gave it up for New Years and broke it on March 19th, the day before my last surgery. I thought, I could die you know - better have one last bag, just in case!!! he, he, he.......... ALL IT TAKES IS JUST ONE. Well, you know the rest of the story, I am back to eating them, but in moderations. I have some self control left in me and now I've cut back to the low salt kind.

Sweets are not my weakness, salt is.

But generally, I eat very healthy when I get to eat. I mostly live all day on coffee.

I want to go on a shocker diet myself. In fact, I start off the day great every morning, but I always want to snack when I get off work (at 10pm)

I think I need a diet buddy or coach, or something!

Shoot though, yesterday all bets were off and I even ate some cheesecake with a vegetable and dip chaser. Does that even things out?

Actually I think I posted something about my odd ways a long time ago. Maybe it was just a response. I dunno.
Anyway..I just finished my carrots and I'm washing them down with the rest of my coffee. At least it's half healthy. lol
Go drink some high fructose corn syrup infused over processed shadow of its former self can of tea. It's good for you LOL
