I got it

I got the job at the other restaurant for the summer. I'll start in a couple of weeks.
Hopefully the agency will have some freelance interpreting work for me too.

Tomorrow I take a spanish placement test. I want to start at level 2. I know quite a bit of spanish, but I know a lot of mexican/slang/dialect
We'll see what happens. I don't want to start learning days of the week, numbers and who what why when where. Too boring.

LOL my schedule isnt that bad at the moment.
A year or 2 ago when I had 2 jobs, my internship (2 internship sites) and school...I was about to throw myself off a bridge. So now it seems like cake. I have half off Tuesday and wednesday nites after my day job and I have sunday completely off...for the moment. LOL
I dunno...I feel like when I have the free time,,,might as well fill it. I'm not a workaholic..i just have mortgage and student loans to pay...OH..and most important..vacations. LOL

Congrats on the new job.. Good luck with the spanish too.... I'd love to learn another language, speaking the odd french every now and again isnt suffice..

I love languages. I'm fluent in sign..obviously or I wouldnt have the interpreting job. LOL
Spanish I understand a lot if I hear it, but I can't put it together myself and I answer in English.
And even though I don't prove it here..I'm fairly fluent in proper English. LOL
If you want to learn another language..do it!! Most important though is to have native speakers around to socialize with. Proper language use and pragmatics don't typically match.
