I'm such a dork Do you know how cool it is when guy cooks for you? It feels good. I think in all the years I was married, my husband may have made rice a roni once for the ..not sure. Maybe he just reheated it in the microwave. LOL It's ok...It was my job..I didnt care. Plus I'm an incredible cook if I do say so myself. LOL It's cause I like to eat..anyone who likes to eat can cook. Speaking of which..I need to bake a bunch of stuff later tonight and early tomorrow morning because we're having a bake sale at my store. YEAH......I KNOW....why have a bake sale at a bakery?? Well...I just thought of it the other day. Why not set up a table outside with balloons and streamers and signs and get people over here....get them to notice where we are cause I've got rent to pay. SOOOO...start praying now for the masses to flood here please. I really need to get business going. Plus..we're adding grinders. That's a sub sandwich for those who arent from Mass. Tonight, I let my friend talk me into teaming for an interpreting assignment with her. UGH..I dont have time for that, but the pay is decent even though I have to drive over to St. Pete and don't get done til 10 tonight. That means I wont be back at my store until 1045 or 11..then I need to start baking..and then get up at 5am so I can get to the wholesale place so I'll be ready to set up for 8am. It's ok..I'll get it done. I've had a great friend helping me so much. He's awesome. Anyway..the bake sale is saturday and sunday. I'll let you know the results of your prayers. Hopefully I'll get enough stuff baked and the pastry trays for the raffle done for the hundreds of people who will swarm in. LOL Have a great day...I'm off to get ready to drive over the bridge to st pete. |

Interpretationn, I prayed for ya. I pray that your business does well. Adding the grinders should help. That way people will have a reason to come other than just in the morning. Sounds like you have a full plate. Faith is not believing that God can - It's knowing that He will!

LOL, you might be right: "anyone who likes to eat can cook." Then anyone that can cook likes to eat. Certainly in the end it's a matter of what one means by "liking" and "can". I know many that like to eat but they can't cook! hahahaaaaa! Let me borrow a saying from a Master Chef I fully agree with: "It has to lie in one's heart!" [Repeat tapping you heart 3 times]  Good luck!!

Gesh, I always did most the cooking, but then I was a chef so that's understandable. Hey, try to get some sleep in between all those tasks, during them probably wouldn't be the best plan though, GBY!

You really ARE such a dork. But HEY!!!!!!!!!!!! you can bake yer way outa that situation ya know.  From what I hear- CHOCOLATE fixes people right up. Hope your sale is EXCELLENT! (man shall NOT live by (plain old white) bread alone... )

Sounds like you have a full plate. We did ok on saturday, Sunday,,,not so much. But even if people didn't stop, they saw that we're here. We had a million balloons streamed across the front lot.

Sounds to me like ya got it going on, girl, lol! Be blessed, little sister Monday I took another interpreting assignment..a fund raiser. Part of it..an hour and a half of it was an auction. After that I had to go home and ice my wrist. LOL
