RESPONSE TO A REPENTANCE POST BY DANNY

I said I repented. Would I go back and not have sex with her, if I could? Yep, and the proof of that is that I do not take any chances now, never put myself in the position to stumble.

This was something that was written in a Blog by Danny. I tried countless of time to comment but for some strange reason it would get erased so I decided to write it in a Bog
Danny great post most people do not understand what REPENTANCE truly means. They believe that if they say I’m sorry that. that’s it and GOD has forgiven them because they said they were sorry to GOD, But the truth is they didn’t truly REPENT….In Luke 3:8 it says
Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up unto Abraham.
Some people say “well its between me and JESUS/GOD and HE knows my heart” But the truth is we are accountable one to another ,if indeed we belong to the body of CHRIST we should ought be. This is the problem when we don’t hold each one accountable to the other in the presence of GOD, it shows LACK OF UNITY,REBELLION,AND LACK OF RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY which ultimately comes from GOD!
Furthermore in MATT 3:10-12 it says:
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
Who does GOD consider trees? And if the tree doesn’t produce fruit where does it go? Who does GOD concider wheat? And where does this wheat go to have the chaff removed? Things that make you go hmmm
My point is this. Without true REPENTANCE there could be NO SALVATION IT IS WRITTEN..ACTS 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent,and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost…True REPENTANCE produces FRUIT..AN OUTWARD MANIFESTATION OF AN INWARD CONDITION. Also in the same manner when we get HOLY SPIRIT FILLED there should be that same evidence of being filled…..AN OUTWARD MANIFESTATION OF AN INWARD CONDITION. If there is no OUTWARD MANIFESTATION then how are we to tell? Who has REPENTED and who hasn’t, and Who has been saved and who hasn’t we who are of the BODY OF CHRIST should be able to discern this through the SPIRIT OF GOD that has been given to us..Danny GREAT POST on REPENTANCE

 In Matt 3, the relationship that we now have with God, did not even exist. Now in the New Covenant we are not made righteous by keeping laws. Laws which no one was perfect at. Thats why Jesus came.

Our righteousness is only found in him. Not in how good a person is.

 Thanks for voicing your agreement, Brother. Most people do not want to hear about Holiness. For some time churches have been preaching a fuzzy warm Christianity that was never taught by Christ, and cannot be supported by His words. I will leave it up to the reader as to whose words are used to support this doctrine...

you talk about the relationship in matt 3 cause you feel its the old test and not the new right ok but you leave out were PETER says in acts 3:38 Repent,and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost…also notice he doesn't say baptize in the name of THE FATHER ,SON AND HOLY SPIRIT but it does say JESUS and thats new test what do you say about that? also it says REPENT... so if you don't REPENT then what relationship can there possibly be?
