On the Kings Mountain

Princess LeAnne sits quietly in the realtor's office on the hot, humid Wednesday afternoon. In this case, hot is a relative term, because this very afternoon it is much hotter in the place from which she just came a week ago. She is exhausted emotionally and physically.

God showed up in a mighty way over and over during the last 10 days and her body just can't keep up with what He is doing in her life.

The realtor just stepped out for a minute after going over the details of the contract that she is proposing for the house she intends to purchase. Her mind is realing, overwhelmed with all that is involved. This huge step is frightening. Is it the right thing?

She silently prays, 'God, I've wanted this house for months. I believe that it is You that is bringing it to me. But, God, if for some reason it is not the one that I should buy, please show me.'

The princess lifts her head and realizes that she's never paid much attention to the address. Now is the time to write it down, so that she can tell others where this place is. She looks on the flier and there it is: 54321 Kings Mountain.

Is there a better street on which God's princess can live?

 Things are going pretty good here. Just a bit of a wind storm, but the power wasn't lost. The sun is shining brightly right now.

Right now I'm in Newton, Kansas helping my mother clean her house since she now lives in a nursing home. Yep, I'm staying with my sister right next door to Bethel College and am fully immersed in the Mennonite culture!!

I just moved to Texas from Arizona last week to be closer to my children. God has shown up over and over in mighty ways since I got here and this is just one of the ways that He showed me His love yesterday.

Perhaps if it is really nice- I would consider 54320- just across the street...
