Floodgate Open the flood gates of heaven and let it rain. Beautiful words to a very timely and significant song. Did you know a flood gate was a gate for shutting out, admitting, or releasing a body of water? It's also defined as something serving to restrain an outburst. Think of standing in a down pour of hard rain there is no way you can come back in with any part of your being dry. Saturated, drenched. Open the flood gate's of heaven, What would that sound like? Would every Christian forget their problems and rejoice and join in the outpouring? Let it rain... What would it rain? The annointing to perform the miraculous, to boldly preach the good news of the Gospel, to witness without hestitation or even stopping to think of consequence or outcome. Saturated and drenched in the outburst poured forth from the flood gates of heaven. Oh let it rain... Let me see the rain, feel the rain, live in the rain. Tear down the floodgates I have built up in my life. |

I don't think it is by any coincidence that I came in and read your comment to my post tonight. It actually led me to another blog that discussed a need that you have in your life for your brother's and sisters in Christ to lift you up in prayer. Because you see it doesn't matter that we do not know one another now here on this earth because Jesus commissions us to do His will on earth as it is in heaven. It is His will that none should suffer and that by His stripes we are healed (present tense). I would like to recommend a book by Michael Pitts called Power Shifters. He is Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church in Toledo, Ohio and has had a profound impact on my life in understanding spiritual principals and truths in God's Word. It's life changing. You can also view his services online at www.cornerstonechurch.us. I know there is a chnace you will not see this but I'm praying you will. I'm also going to pray for you. Father God we place Ginny in your beloved hands like a precious seed for you to protect, nurture, grow, break out and rid of all contaminating substances that could impede the perfect harvest you have planned for her. We break strongholds, curses, negative words and actions that have been spoken over her life and we impart and release your perfect plan and destiny to be fulfilled in her life. We pray for the power to be shifted to the uplifting and promising spiritual realm and away from anything that is contrary from what your Word promises to the children of God. We speak peace to Ginny in every situation that she may hear your voice and obey your commands. Most of all that she would know that you love her and have sent your Son and many others in His place to minister to her in her times of need. All she has to do is ask and you are there. We ask all of this and give you the glory in Jesus' name. Amen
