Am I missing something?

Thanks for your comments,
I just don't know where that happy medium is for life. I want so much to be in unity and be happy even in the midst of challenges.I want to be that servant Gods way.
I find that its so hard for two people to completely come together Gods way.
I know that would be the neatest or greatest place to live. I know my spiritual and fleshly side would be completely satisfied there.
We talk a fine line about whats right or wrong and Gods way and all that, but I want to know why the chemistry doesn't come together for us.
Ex. I meet you. I'm suppose to be that perfect picture your looking for but there's a catch 'm born in sin.
You get a sense of that and then its goodbye or you've been broken down yourself so much that you just can't trust anymore.
Blueocean I think said it best" we both have to be together to stump Satan out,but can that become a reality in our life?
Dundideal "I am the lesser one" is unique (The meek shall inherit the earth) I think its always good to be humble, but that doesn't mean you have to be the lesser one all the time.
Penelope I feel for you. God will give you answers!!
What are your thoughts.

Hmmmm.....It's not real clear what you're looking for here, but I think you're asking about happiness......so, in general I think being happy is a choice we make. If we dwell on negativity it clouds the beauty and wonderfulness of those around us. Speaking negative words destroys loving opportunities, not to mention builds a wall or wedge between two people. Ever notice when you laugh and you're full of joy.....you feel overflowing with love....that same feeling is like an impulse to hug and kiss someone. Once love is established between two, in tough times, the two rely upon each other for comfort, strength, and support. Damage occurs when anger from any situation is not focused on the problem; rather is tossed toward or upon the other. It breaks down the relationship. Feelings get hurt and love is lost.

All people need to do in their relationship is keep their eyes focused in the same direction......if God is the focus of each....how can things go wrong???

Is that what you were asking?

GBY Thanks for your encouragement and comment.
You are a beautiful person uniquely made inside and out by God!!
You allow him to lead you in your life. It must be a very satisfying place to live.
However , you have needs maybe unsaid, and your heart crys to God to have them met in His time.
Philippians 4:6 and 7 say this: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

Blueocean::
Thankyou for your beautiful encouraging words.
Your words of wisdom on sharing negative thoughts versus positive thoughts in relationships are genuine to my heart.Do you think that
the key to not losing the love is being able to forgive over and over again?
I love you as Jesus said it. He means what He says. No strings attached. irregardless of what I do He gives me every opportunity to come and know Him. Its pretty hard for me to let go of someone who loves me like that.
Ummm I guess the words that come to my mind as I sat in church this morning thinking of you was thissalm51:10 thru 13. "Create in me a clean heart O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not caste me away from thy presence, and do not take thy holy spirit from me.Restore to me the joy of thy salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners will be converted to Thee.
Bottom line (your line):
LETS STUMP SATAN OUT TOGETHER
Thanks for commenting.
I hope you both have a great day in the Lord.

Nope. I don't believe the key to love is forgiving over and over again. Though you describe unconditional love and it is overwhelmingly beautiful to receive....God gives us this.....and yes, absolutely we as humans could do the same, although at what price? God doesn't want anyone to be taken a fool, abused, nor used for love even for His sake. To explain a bit, if one loves unconditionally, and the other is in need of constant forgiveness, there is no true balance, plus, having the knowledge that unconditional love is positively forthcoming the sinner learns anything and need not strive in love.....so no...one should not forgive over and over and over. There must be limitations. Then there is also the presence of sin.....everyone is encouraged to not partake in sin....in some cases, when all else fails and sin is still present one may simply walk away to not be amongst evildoers. (Referring to grave sin) Everyone is different and so are their particular limitations.

However, the key to love is like two hands....a right and a left....equally capable of administering tasks separately, yet they work harmoniously together and are controlled by the same "one" organ.....the brain. If God serves as the brain in the marriage and the husband is the right hand and the wife is the left hand........need I say more???? There's your key to love!!!
