Sermon thoughts

Today was part three in a four part sermon series on drawing deep, living shallow: the seven deadly sins. Today was about anger, based in the book of Proverbs. Very good. I can get angry too easily with my students. Anger is a choice. I choose to get angry. I am writing on the board in the morning: "Anger is a choice" and Proverbs 15:1. I never write down where the verse is found because of teaching in a public school. I gave up to the Lord at the end of the sermon, a list of who I have some anger towards. I try to apply this stuff to my life, but it is very hard to at times. I have been struggling with keeping God number 1 and not letting my job become #1 in my life.

God see's not as man see's. He is the one that
cleans and makes us like Christ. You are valuable
to Him he see's your great potential and is using you cause you are a willing vessel. The the devil wants us to look at all our faults but God has a hope and a future for you and for me.Jillriah
