Que Sera Sera Whatever will be will be.. The hardest thing I ever did when I was young was to wait upon the Lord. Life was filled with wonder and promise of what tomorrow would bring. Now I am older.The Lord has never failed me before, but waiting is harder than it ever was. Why? When I was young my whole life was before me. Now I am not so young, and for the first time in my life I am not looking ahead, but at yesterdays. We were going to a mega church and I got lost in the crowd. I recently found a small church, but it is a small church with less than 20 members now. Yet, they like me, hold onto the promises of God expecting Him to do great things. When my husband died, I held onto the promise that All things are working together for my good, although I could not see it then, or now. Yet I know the one who made this promise is true to his word, and I want to see that good part of my life when I can smile again. Jesus said blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted. I know that he did not lie. I am waiting for that comfort. So yet another blog, and another day waiting. |
