Do You Love Me?

- Simon Peter, Do You Love Me
more than these?
If You do, go and feed my sheep.
- Why are you hanging here idol
doing nothing?
- Lord, no one has hired us.
- Go then and work in my vineyard.
- In what wages?
- Just for one denary.

When Jesus died in Calvary,
did He asked what is He going to gain?
He Loved You unconditionally
and paid the price of Yours
through some pain.
Now He is asking You
- What can you do
for that of your wages?
(your heavenly place.)

Search your soul, search your heart
why are you working in His vineyard?
Are you doing your work out of Love
or hoping for some gain?
He called you to suffer with Him
and to go also through some pain.
The question is laid down now by Him
Do you really, really Love Me?

This poem I wrote after I realized so many stay in church for very funny motives. Some come there to seek for deasent spouses, not nessessary to worship God, some do work for God in hope to get higher post or fame and then when thinking all of that I just put it into poem. The same problem Jesus saw and was asking if the Love for him is real. He told the parable of the vineyard workers to point out that all are equal in his eyes. No one higher of the other.
