I REMEMBERED!!!

Ok, so as some of you may know, yesterday I was a little upset because I had something I wanted to say, and couldn't for the life of me remember (also, the other day, I had a thought too, and couldn't remember - well I didn't remember that one, but I did remember what I wanted to share yesterday )

Anyway, so my thoughts to share were these...

The first thought I wanted to share was - isn't it terribly sad when the gas you put in your car is worth more than the car itself? I have a 1989 Nissan Sentra that is running on it's last legs...a full tank of gas only lasts 4 days of commuting (28mpg). So everytime it acts funny I just hope and pray it doesn't break down for good because of the money I invested in gas.

Another thought I wanted to share (because I had finally remembered what I wanted to write) - don't you hate it when you have somthing important to remember, and so you reach for a pen to write it down with, and the pen startes to work, but then it quits. So you reach for another pen, and that one is competely dried up, so you toss it grumbling about whose idea it was to keep a worthless pen. So you continue reaching until the fifth pen (yes, i have a LOT of pens in my car - for such a reason as this) and by then half of what you wanted to remember is forgotten!

So please, share your thoughts with me on this? Do you own a vehicle that you feel isn't always worth the gas you put in it?

What about the pens...is that murphy's law? I can't remember...and I don't feel like googling it either...

Yes, please keep Senny in your prayers...her legs are quite wobbly and so long as she keeps running, I don't have to pay for a newer car...unless God moves someone to give me another one (like He did with Senny)...hey, He's God, and He loves to surprise me

LOL dunno about the car.. cos I go by bus

Pens...arrrrrrrgh....I hate it when ya on the phone, someone gives you a number.. and you go to find a pen.. and the only pen you can find has been chewed that much that the nib goes back up inside and so you have to scrawl the number into the paper..X) ..annoyance to the max..

Oh yes, many have been the times where I have had to engrave info onto a piece of paper, and then later go and have to use a pencil over it like I'm Hercule Poirot trying to figure out how to get to a barbecue!

Hey you want pens? drop round to my place!! Every time a pharmaceutical rep comes to the clinic I sweettalk them out of every pen in their possession!! I have pens EVERYWHERE!! Even wear one around my neck. When one runs out....there's always another to take its place! OK now I'm bragging LOL!!

I do agree with you about the cost of fuel though. Imagine how many pens you could buy for that amount you spend on fuel?????

I am sure I could fill my little car up to the brim, and have it coming out the windows, with the amount of money I spend on fuel...~sigh

I had a car like that and God recently blessed me with another car that is much more economical..makes my gas bill a third of what it would normally be

I could only hope for such as that...consider that at $3.00 a gallon, I filled mine up with $25.00 on Monday afternoon...and will have to fill it up again tomorrow morning...in essence that is $50.00 a week in gasoline...$200.00 a month...which is does not make it easy to put money aside for this trip to Israel (the money has to all be in by September 10th!!! ) ~sigh...but God...Hallelujah, but God!!!
