Men choosing younger women I always find this quite amazing that many men choose or want younger woman. As we all know we all age, our bodies can crumble, wrinkle, men's foreheads grow  , women suddenly have dimples on more than their faces....I do my best to take care of myself . Age is a number to me, quite simple. I am not a barbie doll and I am not looking for Ken.So guys, tell me why,as christians we can limit God. I agree that we all should have a physical attraction to the other, after all God did make us this way.Your thoughts or comments please, and be nice, there is no exceptions to that rules. May God's Face shine upon you.

Yes it's amazing how many men prefer younger women especially the ones that say that age doesn't matter. At least 3 of my male friends have married women 10-19 yrs younger then them..anyway...welcome..oceanfloor

Well, facts are facts and truth is truth I believe the many ages of our life are unique AND common unique to US and common to man Praise God that we ALL age...it's normal and thank you for hair dye... (wink)

I've dated women both + and - 20 years, and even though i respect and treat women all the same, like the Queens that they are, i have found to have more in common with the younger ones, at least where there is only a 10 year difference. Maybe it's that I like to think that I'm still young at heart, or maybe it's that i haven't quite got all my priorties straight.Then again most of this was before coming to the Lord.For know I'm just trying to stay focused on Him, and I can wait to see where I'm been lead.

I suppose some men's idea of being with someone younger (and some women like toy boys, too) is so that a person doesn't have to look into a mirror and face the reality that age is catching up with them. God has blessed some relationships that span the age gap. I wouldn't like to generalise about whether they occurred because that is what the older party wanted, or that they occurred through the mystery of two people meeting and falling in love.

carnality Romans 7 personified in our very flesh and desires as humans I agree One of the fruits of our Holy Spirit is, "self control" this would be self control in ALL areas...not just this one in particular my personal response to the high divorce rate is not lack of church attendence (my opinion only), but extreme narcissism and being lukewarm/lazy in our spirituality (generally speaking) if we could learn sacrificial love, the love would heal our relationships like a balm... again, my opinion in Him, Mom4Jesus

Wow, great comments. I must agree Mom, spiritually we have to have that maturity in common and it is about giving 200 percent or more to the other, but not being a doormat. I appreciate the honesty from the guys. Yes God our Father did give us hormones, but yes we need to control them and your not alone guys in this or being finding a mate that your attracted too. I agree completely with you, Lou. Age should not be a factor when it comes to the broad spectrum of Love our Lord wants us to experience in our short lives. Some men in this world prefer older women due to their maturity. Personally, I prefer older women because they have little or no desire to play head games and they seriously know what they want in life - and that is a HUGE bonus. Physical, moral and spiritual maturity is a serious turn-on for some of us.....

Beauty is not tuned to age. Beauty is tuned to attitude and character. The most 'beautiful' woman on earth becomes quite unpleasant looking if she is a self-centered, empty vessel. Yet, the one maybe considered a 'plain jane,' can be beautiful because of her personality and character. And age has little to do with it. That is not to say if one chooses to not take care of their body, it will not have an effect on their overall appearance to the opposite sex. Gravity eventually becomes the common enemy of us all. By that time, one might hope higher ideals and character is a much better 'catch,' then a babe in a bottle. I'm not certain why older men seek out younger women, other than the logical factor it must make them feel younger. Possibly the same with older women/younger men. And vice versa with younger seeking out older partners.
