How do you establish you connection to God?

As I have described one of the ways I establish a connection with God other than prayer is though running. Share with me some of the ways you do.

 Hi Welcome to BlogLand

I listen to my worship music and just praise the Lord. I read some of my favorite scriptures by candle light and have a glass of wine. I journal my thoughts and feelings to him. I really love sitting on my patio in the summer surrounded by my beautiful flowers and just sitting still an communing with God.
