100% obedience ...

When God sent Saul to attack the Amalekites for what they had done to Israel (Ex. 17: 8; 1 Sam. 15:2), He expected the king to obey Him completely. When he didn't, Saul not only failed Israel but he disappointed God. And he had to suffer the results of disobedience. As Samuel told him, God "has rejected you from being king" (v.23).

The Lord, who is a perfect Father, loves us and knows what will work out best in our lives. To show that we trust Him, we need to do all we can to obey what He has told us in the Bible, His Word. He deserves our 100-percent obedience.

Blessings

Obedience by 100%. People say it is not possible. Yet Jesus says it is.
You say here that "we need to do all we can to obey"- yet no one does. They SAY they are doing their very best- yet choose to sin purposely... I wonder if that has something to do with our false faith in what "christianity" itself teaches about sin and it's "inevitibility" in a christian's life... If we were doing all we can to obey- there would be no sin in the life of ANYONE who claims to be a christian. Problem is- we make all sorts of excuses for never surrendering to God by 100% in the first place.
