The most important thing to me is that our spiritual beliefs and goals line up, so I voted for "Religious beliefs.....prayer will keep us together." After that, I want to live in peace. I hate strife. I will not shove things under the carpet in order not to disagree, but I believe in handling issues when they come up, getting them resolved and putting them in the past. The other thing that I want is to have someone who can just hold me and make me feel loved and safe. I am a minister. I have to be the support for many people. Because of that, I tend to appear stronger than I am to others, I think. I would love to have someone who can take me in his arms and make me feel as though I don't have to be strong for him, that he will take care of me. I want someone who understands that I am not as strong as others perceive me, and I want that to be okay with him. Thanks for letting me speak my heart here! Great poll!

If you can't leave the house without wondering what they're doing, or who they're doing it with, you're in trouble... what a horrifying way to live... -Danny

I am laughing as I look at the results and see that #2 and #6 are the same. I almost voted for 6 but thought I shouldn't so I didn't, I voted for 2. Can we vote twice? (smile) Hey, I have only been single a year I am still adjusting lol. Seriously, I voted for trust but religious beliefs are high on my list, as well, for obvious reasons. One thing I know by experience that prayer doesn't always keep you together if only one of you are praying. Excellent poll.

I want several of those things!! I think mostly, I don't want just a marriage, I want a relationship. That someone I can come home to and not wait to share my day with, someone who will be concerned if I have a bad day and rejoice if it was good. A man I can pray with and know that I'm #2 to him (God always first!!). I just want the relationship and intimacy that goes along with that.

My list didn't fit any of your options. To me the spiritual agreement [not religious] was the most important and then went from there, such as family.

I voted for sex, sex, and more sex! ![]() are importand. I don't really care about the money part, as long as he is hard working and responsible. Looks are kind of in the eye of the beholder too.

I agree with Marcos about respect being VERY important but I want the ENTIRE package... the whole thing individualized to who I am who he is who WE are together and who we CAN be together love sacrifice trust hand in hand working together partners friends and a willingness to bend... and LOTS of sex lots... ![]()

I love those ones who voted for sex. I believe they were the most honest ones here and also most realistic. Marriage was made for flesh. We are having needs and sex is one of them and I think the strongest one that drives us. Thats why God made Eve to be with Adam and that's why Paul was advising..let every man has his own wife....and quickly come together so Satan can not tempt you. Respect...that is what we can do to others even outside of the marriage but satisfying the sex drive is safe, decent and Godly only in marriage.
