My friend's wife died today.....

Please lift up in prayer Carol Majeau and her wonderful family. She died today of bowel cancer-- only 6 weeks after being diagnosed.

I never knew her that well- but her husband and I worked together on a homeless shelter for men- doing the construction work. He is one of the most wonderful men you could ever want to spend time with- a talented musician gospel writer and a man dedicated to helping others. They have three boys two of whom are doing ministry work in the pentecostal church and the third boy is just 17 and thinking about the same career.

Carol was a very beautiful young black lady from the United States. She had a gift for music and elegance. Their home is immaculate- a testament to Carol's hard work and devotion to the family. May the Lord truly embrace her in His love and never forget the great sacrifice she made in making that family so God oriented. And may Roland her husband find continued passion for his writing and song making. He is truly devoted to helping the Cancer society and a very passionate man with a great love for America.

I do very much appreciate the kind words and prayers that all of you here at BigChurch have given. Where on earth would this world be without prayer? I wonder. Like a mighty river meandering through the canyons of life- we meet God in many places and all kinds of circumstances- He is never far from us- and once in his current he sweeps us up flat out. This family that you are all praying for is on fire for the Lord- and believe me, the Lord will perform a mighty miracle with the earthly loss of Carol. I am truly grateful to all for the mighty prayers and support you have shown. May God never cease being with you!

Chris

Chris,
I come in agreement with the prayers above.

Oh Chris, I just thought of her last night before I went to sleep. Thank you for letting us know. How is Ellie doing?

I will remember Carol's family and I pray that you will be able to bring strength to them and help them to grieve and find peace in God.

God bless!
