Halleluiah! Eureka! I found it! Do you pray when you have lost something very important like three documents pertaining to your income tax file? Well I searched the table with all my papers and needed to find three documents that had to be faxed to my accountant. But lo an behold I could not for the life of me find them. I searched everywhere ( old age you, you know). I know my Catholic mother would pray to St Anthony every time she was searching for something lost. SO I said mother if you're up there ask St Anthony for me... then I asked the good lord to look too. Well just like that I found the three documents all stuck together and somehow they had gotten sandwiched in my bank statements! Halleluian and praise the Lord! Free... free at last. Thank God almighty! |

Hey Chris, Not sure if you ever saw my comment on Blanche's post, but I had her delete it. It came off wrong, and I was getting overly defensive without really reading all of what you said. I wish we were able to hear one another's tone when we blog, but our meaning will always be left in part to chance. Those who do not see depression as a real disease and problem simply do not understand. Being a little upset is not DEPRESSION. Many say there is absolutely no excuse for being overweight. I am guessing from your pic we are BOTH in that category referred to by physicians as morbidly obese. I hate that term! Some would tell us that we are sorry excuses for Christians the way we abuse our bodies, which are to be living temples. I know for myself I could lose some weight by eating less and exercising some. But at the same time, I know of people who eat as much and exercise no more than I do, yet are slim. Low metabolism is real! Depression is real! Please try to put yourself in others shoes when you comment on depression. I know you mean well, and usually are far more tactful tha I am. God bless, and feel free to delete it. As for what I believe about depression-- it remains. There are enough studies that show that many anti depressant drugs are not much more than placebos and people ( we all get depressed at times) are far better off to use good exercise, sunshine and a lot of the right kinds of food rather than taking drugs that not 100 percent proven to do the job. Why sacrifice your own body for the pharmaceutical companies sake? I'm not being flippant. Just realistic. I read a lot and I study a lot. I am no fool when it comes to taking drugs. THis is strictly MY OPINION as everyone here has their point of view. I'm very sorry if Blanche was upset with what I said. But I will not change my mind about my opinion on depression. Thanks for the comment!

Yes all the time.....I used to wear contact lenses and they are awful to find. My Heavenly Father cares about all of these things I believe. Praise Him and thank Him in all things. GBY H.
