Hi Cathy. Good that you know God is in full control! I hope you really trust it, although it is hard to believe it sometimes, isn't it?

But as I heard once from my pastor, we may FEEL all alone but we are not. But Jesus Christ, yes, he WAS really alone in the cross. He, better than anybody else, knows what is it to have nails insted of a shoulder to lean on, this is why when we cry He always offers us His own shoulder...

Therefore, REJOYCE!!! You are in good company!!!

My thoughts are with you.
God bless.

Lord Jesus I lift up Cathy and her son up to You and ask that You protect them, comfort them and keep them safe. AMEN

Cathy, oh how wonderful to meet you. Thank you for your honest post.
My son recently moved to Arizona, the war for his soul rages, he struggles with alcohol. He surprised me and flew back to California
to attend a funeral of a close buddy who lost his mom. The funeral is today. Saturday night my son called and asked to go to church with me. The sermon was on SILENCE. In order to hear God's voice, we must turn off the TV, radio, cell phones...and seek silence in this hectic noisy world. Precious Cathy, alone, in silence, your heart longs for connection...and I pray that today, in a silent place you will find Jesus there...waiting...to gently hug you, and whisper, a Word that will bless you.
Barbara
