re:pray for my ,bad marrage,sucidal my has been married for 5 years to older man he is mentally and verbally abusive,she tried to committ sucide yesterday.please pray that god will give her strength to walk away and leave.she is so depressed she doesn't care if she lives or dies.i told her she could come live with me i don't know how else to help her. |

thank you everyone ,for your prayers,her husband has her self esteen so beat down,he ran me off from there house yesterday threw bottle medication at me.i didn't say anything just looked at him.i knew if i said anything it would just make matters worse.i told my daughter she has place to live with me,she loves him and thinks he needs her.i need help in trying to build her self esteen up so she will have power to leave,how can i do this?

thank you ladylightwalker and everyone for your prayers but you don't seems to understand she loves him thinks sun sets and rises in him.i once was in her place had no self esteen but god finally gave me strenght to walk away,also she is 37 years old.i have been nurse for 21 yrs and have seen this lot in women men try to control them one way or another.need prayers and advice as to how to build up her self esteen as to give her courage to leave. thank you

Cathy my concern isn't so much whether she leaves him really..it's that she tried to commit suicide. She needs in rehab whether she lives with him later or whatever. As you know, she could kill herself next time. Is she willing to go into counceling for her suicidal problems? Maybe a facility or out patient counseling? So sorry...I'm sure you're worried to death. hi ladylightwalker she is not working quit her job in febuary or was forced to quit,this man will not give her money for therapy and it seems that every where i call the want money no one does anything for free.

hi robin my daughter seems to be doing ok now but only god knows what is going on in her life.my son is over in iraq for his second tour remember him in your prays. god bless you
