Why I am at Big Church Why am I here? The reasons seem to have evolved over the short time I have been here. I came here first of all to find a man to date and possibly marry. Then, I realized that may or may not happen. So, I became content to just meet people and get to know them as friends. I love to meet people and this is a great, safe way to do it. I live in a very rural community. There aren't very many people here, let alone dedicated Christian ones. So, I am always looking for new, dedicated Christians who want to be my friend. I have found several here. Then I began just naturally ministering to some of the people I met here and I realized another reason for my being here. God wants me to share His love, compassion and healing touch with the people that come here who are hurting in some way. So, that expanded my reasons for being here even further. I thank you, Lord, for all the reasons You have brought me here. Lead me to new friends and new people to minister to. I am still open to Mr. Right, but I am very content to wait upon Your wisdom and timing for that. I Jesus' most precious and holy name, amen! |

Thanks for sharing, my story is pretty much the same. This is a good site to minister to others and for others to encourage. I think many of us went on here, thinking we would meet our husband or wife, but not always case. I have been content to just meet friends, and share in a Christain community.

Hi Jean, welcome to blogs. Yes I came here to meet people because I I don't have much of a social life (sigh). But the big Church experience has brought me closer to God. If I don't hear from you before Thanksgiving have a nice one.
