This is a Delicate subject!! Before the Christain Marriage, we have to be careful NOT to habour any lustful thought in our hearts. The Words of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Sermon on the Month in Matthew 5 should be our watchword on this subject. I think we can still hold hand and hug, and depending on cross cultural divides, we can still give a pek or kiss on the cheek. Though in my part of the world where I come from(Africa), this is even consider absurd...................... Knowing our limits and abstaining from ALL APPEARANCES OF EVIL is the vital thing! Thanks. God's People are so diverse. Apart from the kissing , holding hands, etc. We are constantly learning how to interact with others in Christ and stay in God's Word, An important step towards marriage. Without that step it's very difficult for a person to go far before marriage. So i am constantly learning!

Hugs, holding hands, and kissing ( cheek, small pecks) is fine for me. Anything else is over the line and puts me in the danger zone. Of course you want to be attracted to the peson you want to marry and know something about that person. Those things can be learned through communication, walks in the park, picnics.. ext... not through sinning having sex before marriage. I want to do things God's way not my way.... always gving him the Glory.. Thanks for the interesting poll Jean Gwen

I think it's about the intentions behind the actions... Whether you kissing out of affection or out of lust. Affection is, to me, ok... lust is what gets you in trouble. And... if you know yourself and your partner, you'll know the intentions behind what you do together. Your conscience is your best guide... I think that when Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that knowledge became what we call our conscience, and if it's nagging at you, you have to find out if it's valid or if it's Satan trying to trip you up.

Amzing how this topic can get us all thinking and trying to be honest. How honest? Lust is always used in a sexual content although it amazes me that the truth is lust is an action of sin not just sexual sin. To lust after or covet anything in this world is wrong. so we read the word (study),Pray,Share the word and our prayers with the one we believe He has chosen for us. find out if we are equally yoked!!! spend time together in each others ministries and do the best we can to be Godly in our actions and intentions keeping no secrets from each other. Also spend time together around other like minded people that they may witness Gods hand in this. Then we will probably have enough knowledge, accountability and confirmation to become wedd and do His will for others as He has done for us. He will provide for all our needs and it will be done on earth as it is done in heaven Amen................................ I dont know if that makes sense it just seem to flow out right now so I'll share it qithout fear Amen....................... Peace
